The original Viper was already meant for hardcore drivers, but this 1996 Dodge Viper RT/10 has been given big investments ($23k) to make it a bold machine bringing 482 horsepower to the streets.

You gotta love the early Viper roadsters. It has a body built for speed with nothing else added into the mix. The giant motor was cloaked in a minimalist swoopy design that earned its snake bitten name. And this one has nothing tame about it. The black paint looks like it wants to be lurking in the shadows. The light gray racing stripes contrast this nicely. It even has true flair with those polished 17-inch wheels. But for the extra-bold, the upgraded later ACR-style hood and a full-with color-matched rear spoiler start to really hint at the extra investments in this one.

The total package comes with three roof (two hardtops and one targa soft top) and two side curtains (factory and an upgraded Autoform flush-fitting units.) But really the benefit of the RT/10 is being able to open it up to the world, and the red interior makes this one look like it's out for blood. The Sparco bucket seats with racing harnesses keep you firmly planted, and the interior completely envelopes the driver. Your arm fits so that your favorite resting spot is right on top of the gearstick; the full gauge package is at eye level; and you'll love the grip of the upgraded Momo steering wheel. Plus, there's room for a bit of luxury with an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with fold-out screen for DVDs, and there are provisions for air conditioning.

It was once thought that the 8.0-liter fuel-injected V10 in the Viper couldn't get any better, but progress is a wonderful thing. In 2017 there was a nice investment the motor, including Comp Cams camshaft, Jesel high performance rockers, RSI Performance pushrods w/Manley valves, port & polished heads, custom ported intake, Accufab 65mm throttle bodies, Hennessey carbon fiber air intake, and a full upgraded cat-back exhaust. The total package is rated at 483 horsepower and a whopping 500 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels! (and we have the dyno sheet to prove it.) Plus, the investments in this one keep it delivering stout power, including Roe Racing aluminum radiator, newer bushings & bearings, and an Exedy clutch for the six-speed manual transmission. This confident feeling is backed up by the fully independent suspension, power steering, grippy Nitto NT555 tires, and Brembo four-wheel disc brakes.

This custom Viper has been under the same careful ownership for the last 11 years. Now is the time to get something distinctive, powerful, and awesome for an obtainable price. Call now!
