Featuring a 6.2L V8 pumping out 495HP, a floppy-paddle 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and a 'showroom-new' presentation, this insane Corvette is an opportunity to get in on all the fun without the dealership wait time.

You can only get a C8.R in two colors and Hypersonic Gray Metallic offset with Edge Yellow racing stripes is categorically the best choice. And with all of the gorgeous add-ons delivered with the IMSA package, this Stingray Z51 with its 3LT trim package is an absolute stunner that looks like it's going 100MPH just standing still. The engine's repositioning required a stronger focus on stark aerodynamics and cooling, and the resulting front fascia, side scoops with air intakes, and rear vents out back below the taillights all work to that end. The Z51 and C8.R package punches up the C8's styling with Carbon Flash exterior accents and limited badges found throughout, LED lamps everywhere, a Carbon Flash wing spoiler, performance exhaust, black composite rockers, and Carbon Flash mirrors, giving the car an even more aggressive look, if that's possible. Of course, as a new car, it's in showroom-fresh condition with impeccable paint, perfect factory gaps, and not a mark on the slick finish. In fact, the highest praise we can pay any car is that it looks like it just rolled out of the factory, and in this Corvette's case, that's completely true! You won't be able to get the full effect of this car from the photos but spend some time looking it over and you'll really dig all the little details, from the cool badges and stripes, to the chin spoiler, to the oversized exhaust tips at the flanks of the slick-black rear diffuser, and you get the impression that there's nothing on this car that doesn't serve the purpose of going FAST.

The luxurious Sky Cool Gray leather/suede/microfiber interior is where the C8 really shines, offering the upgrades that Corvette fans have been begging after for years. And like the rest of the car, it's new, without so much as a crease in the driver's seat cushion, and the look is further punctuated with gorgeous Strike Yellow stitching and accents, along with black and white components throughout the sporty cabin. The body-hugging multi-directional power GT2 buckets are comfortable for all-day drives as well as track sessions, and like any modern supercar, the 'Vette comes with neatly placed openings in the seat back for a harness. As this is a 3LT car, it's loaded with every option in the book, including the usual power EVERYTHING, a 12-inch digital gauge center, and a Bose Infotainment system with a 8-inch HD touchscreen, as well as heated and ventilated seats, Wi-Fi connectivity, and paddle-shifters on the sporty steering wheel that looks like it came out of a Ferrari. In fact, if not for the badges, you'd likely name every Italian exotic before you got to Corvette when describing this cabin. Overhead there's a body-color removable roof panel and because this Corvette is mid-engined, you get some storage both fore and aft, so a longer trip is not out of the question.

The engine in the middle is a roaring 6.2 liter V8 making a stunning 495HP, and it's all backed by a full factory warranty, so go out and have some fun. The all-new, all-aluminum LS has grown by leaps and bounds since its introduction 20 years ago, with this one making the kind of power we could only dream of back then. Car & Driver registered 0-60 MPH in 2.8 seconds, and this very Z51/C8.R package includes a comprehensive list of mechanical, aerodynamic, cooling, and tire upgrades that make this Stingray thrive out on the track. With a faster acceleration time than that of the C7 ZR1, we can probably say goodbye to a front-engine Corvette forever. The engine bay is brand-new, with no modifications other than the engine appearance upgrade, so it can be docile enough for your mom to drive it but get it onto the track and it comes to life. The 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission may seem like a performance handicap, but the paddle shifters and lightning-quick reflexes actually make it quicker off the line and all you have to do is stomp and steer. The Z51 suspension is agile and you can forget about Corvettes riding like trucks, because this one is comfortable and supple with magnetic ride control planting it to any surface. Giant Z51-spec disc brakes with yellow calipers, performance traction management, and all kinds of other safety features keep you from getting in over your head and it rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear C8.R aluminum wheels and sticky Michelins.
