Powered by a 302-cubic-inch V8 that's fed by a 4-barrel Holley Double Pumper carburetor sitting on top of an Edelbrock intake manifold, it has plenty of power, starts up promptly and sounds awesome, thanks to a dual exhaust that terminates in a pair of Flowmaster mufflers. The engine pairs with a 3-speed automatic C4 transmission renowned for its durability and, with both power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes on board, this Cougar is a breeze to navigate, and it comes to a stop in a hurry.
