FUEL INJECTED 6.0L LQ4 V8, AUTO, A/C, PS/B, 4 WHEEL DISC, VERY CLEAN INSIDE/OUT!

You might see cars similar to this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Restomod rumble into major car shows and win trophies on a regular basis, but not many have the modern horsepower to back up the look like this one does. Packing a thumping 6.0L LQ4 V8 that's matched to an AOD 4-speed automatic transmission, and featuring a spectacular Gray Metallic paint job wrapped around a comfortable black bucket seat interior, this is a vintage alpha predator with killer good-looks that's ready to dominate the game.

What they say about fresh, dark paint is true, and it's very clear that someone spent A LOT of time on the bodywork of this Chevelle before the deep, dark Gray Metallic paint went on. The '69 Chevelles always look best in dark colors, and without stripes or other adornments, this one has a simple, brutal look that's extremely appealing. They didn't add an obnoxious hood, but instead chose to go with a moderate dual-cowl unit that only previews the violent snarl underneath, without fully advertising it. Gaps are good all around, which shouldn't be surprising, since virtually every inch of sheetmetal on this car was labored over to get just right, and the result is a car that fits together very well, ... Description

Gaps are good all around, which shouldn't be surprising, since virtually every inch of sheetmetal on this car was labored over to get just right, and the result is a car that fits together very well, with doors and a deck lid that shut fairly effortlessly for a car this size. The two-stage urethane paint has an incredible shine and depth, which is what you need with darker colors to get maximum effect, and the deep finish really makes the stainless trim and chrome pop. It's not a perfect show car, and an imperfection in a single body gap or a slight swirl in the paint might be found upon super-close examination, but we're talking about minor imperfections that do nothing to take away the drop-dead gorgeous curb appeal of this Chevelle. Bright bumpers fore and aft, a blacked-out grille with chrome horizontal bars, and clear "Chevelle" and "SS" script emblems all make this car look perfectly put together, and almost anyone can instantly tell this one is something special with just a quick glance.

From behind the wheel, you'd never realize that this Chevelle was so heavily fortified with modern performance goodies under the hood... until you turn the key. Black buckets, a console, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel closely re-create 1969 inside and it's all in great shape with only 4,668 miles on the build. The horseshoe shifter looks all-stock and faithfully manages the overdrive transmission below, and the restored dash now features a custom bezel filled with a full array of black-faced digital/analog AutoMeter instruments. Plush black carpets and fresh-looking SS door panels continue the theme, and with an investment into some rubber mats for the floors, it'll look good for years to come. A Pioneer double-din AM/FM/AUX stereo manages upgraded speakers stashed throughout the cabin, and this '69 also come equipped with a full Vintage A/C system blowing cold R134a treated air through factory vents, all controlled by the factory vent controls. The back seat is also in great shape and barely looks used, while the headliner is taut and even, suggesting that the guys in charge of the interior really knew what they were doing. Even the trunk is simple yet neatly finished, with spray-in spatter paint that shows off just how solid Chevelle really is, and there's enough room back there to haul all the trophies this Chevelle is bound to win from your local car show circuit.

The high-powered 6.0L LQ4 V8 under the hood obviously wasn't factory-issue, but it's a neat fit in the Chevelle's engine bay nevertheless. Fuel-injected and packing huge horsepower and plenty of torque, the entire drivetrain was professionally installed and wired using modern controllers and a modern wiring harness, and it runs superbly with the accessories managed by a serpentine system. Keeping the block nice and cool under all circumstances is a giant radiator up front, while a big, cold-air intake system up top help the block breather easy. The 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission seems immune to the torque twisting through it and there's a heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end that's more than capable of handling all that added power. Underneath, there's a full-blown custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers that exits under the rear bumper and sounds spectacular, but it's not so overpowering that your neighbors will want to move. It handles superbly with an upgraded suspension, big sway bar up front, coilovers in the rear, modern power steering, and power 4-wheel disc brakes at each corner, and the builders nailed the stance, too, with a predatory crouch that totally makes this car work atop the mean-looking Ridler alloys wrapped in 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear Hankook radials at all four corners.

You've admired Chevelles like this for a long time, haven't you? Why not take this one home and be the big fish in the pond for a change? With only 4,668 miles on this killer build, this '69 is barely broken in and ready to dominate for years to come. Call today!
