The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is already an icon, but this custom build is absolutely unforgettable. It's an amazing black and chrome presentation that has been given the kind of details and textures to make people really say "Wow!" And that's even before you've checked out the custom A/C interior, upgraded suspension, five-speed manual, or the 560+ horsepower fuel-injected Corvette heart.

This car is unmistakably a custom from the moment you first catch sight of it. After all, you could get black paint direct from Chevy in '55, but this one is so deeply sinister, you know it's a modern application. They took the time to get this bodywork correct before even the first drop of black was laid down. That means the kind of total presentation where the light evenly runs across the entire car. All the brightwork looks like it has been expertly maintained to make sure that the bumpers shine like mirrors, and the iconic trim reminds us this is a jet-age classic. With the aggressive touches like the large dual exhaust tips and large 20-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, everyone knows they're in for something special.

This might be a vintage car, but the moment you open the door, you see a very modern level of comfort. This is a fantastically coordinated package where even the stitching in the dash, seats, and door panels match the brown trim used throughout the car – including the custom waterfall full-length center console. With the full restoration completed in 2017 and less than 2,700 miles on the whole build, there hasn't been time to even wear in the seats. So don't be surprised if you win awards on the interior alone. You've got a huge list the best features, including air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cup holders, and a nicely integrated backup camera. Plus, the AM/FM/CD stereo has Bluetooth and connects to a full speaker system, including the custom subwoofer in the trunk. The front seats are 12-way power adjustable, so you get in the ideal driving position. Plus, you have a Hurst shifter, a grippy wood and chrome steering wheel, and that gives you a great view of the full Dakota Digital gauge upgrade.

Look in the engine bay, and you'll see a modern Chevy icon powering this legendary Bel Air. It's a fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 Corvette V8. There was $13,000 invested in just the motor and having it built with terrific upgrades. The result is a dyno-tested 561 horsepower. Plus, this received all the right supporting components like a Painless wiring kit and a Griffin aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. You even have a custom exhaust with electronic cutouts to decide how much you want to scare off the lesser cars with your growl. The big V8 feeds a Tremec TKO600 with Ecklers hydraulic pump clutch to provide strong and complete control over the motor. This connects to a custom aluminum driveshaft on its way to the Mosler limited slip rear end with 4.11 gears for powerful take-offs. Something this powerful needs the suspension upgraded, too. So you have tubular control arms with sway bar up front, and in the rear is a Heidts four-link. Plus, this adjustable coilovers and drilled & slotted disc brakes behind every wheel.

There's so much more to go over on this build, so call for all the details. We'll even go through the build receipts and restoration photos that prove this is the ultimate '55 For those who love both power and presence. Call now!
