383 STROKER V8, AUTO, A/C, PS/B W/ FRONT DISC, FRESH INSIDE/OUT, DRIVES GREAT!

A couple years back, the 1969 Camaro was named the most significant Chevrolet of the past 100 years, and when you look at this recently restored (only 797 miles since the build!) sizzling yellow RS/SS Tribute, it's pretty easy to figure out why. With a thumping 383 V8 stroker under the hood, a smooth-shifting automatic transmission, and beautifully appointed comfortable interior, this Camaro was built to do more than just look good.

No other car wears accent stripes as well as a Camaro; they practically define the brand. Originally code 57 Fathom Green, the color was professionally changed and turned up to 11, and brilliant Daytona Yellow paint was an outstanding choice for this high-performance F-body. Projecting an image that says it takes no prisoners, the gorgeous paint looks right on the aggressive RS/SS, especially with factory styling upgrades like the RS headlight package, the SS hood complete with brightly finished louvers, and the half vinyl top on the roof. This car was recently painted and still looks like a fantastic, high-grade driver, showing only very minor imperfections (and they're hard to spot without a trained eye) that'll never stop it from being the center of ... Description

This car was recently painted and still looks like a fantastic, high-grade driver, showing only very minor imperfections (and they're hard to spot without a trained eye) that'll never stop it from being the center of attention at car shows. Black hockey stripes are almost mandatory on a vinyl top vehicle, just like the polished quarter panel 'gill' inserts and ducktail spoiler out back, all of which give this Camaro traditional good looks that never go out of style. Details like the blacked-out grille, polished stainless wheel and rocker moldings, and the fog lights below the front bumper elevate this Camaro above some of its stripped-down brothers, creating a wonderful contrast between the race-ready RS/SS gear and the high-impact color.

Black-and-yellow Houndstooth upholstery is a very unique and great choice for a 60s Camaro like this, and the look is OEM with added flash. Like the exterior paint, the upholstery gives the Camaro a great deal of style that suits its price and reminds you why the '69 Camaro is an icon. Everything inside appears to be brand new or completely restored, including the plush black carpets, awesome door panels, and even the dash pad that's completely free of cracks and blemishes. The factory gauges are all still in place with crisp, clear markings, including the white-face units inside the center console gauge kit, offering the driver all the viral information from the beast under the hood. And speaking of the center console, it houses an ever-popular horseshoe shifter to manage the automatic transmission below, and it is adorned with the same gorgeous wood applique found on the lower dash and steering wheel. Very upscale, indeed. A modern Retro-sound stereo system fits into the original radio's slot, and with cold R134a A/C, it's easy to get comfortable for the serious business of driving. The rear seat is equally impressive and has likely never been used, while out back the trunk is surprisingly spacious and protected by a reproduction plaid mat.

That's a powerful 383 cubic inch V8 stroker motor under the hood that seemingly puts big block power in a small block package. With big horsepower to the rear wheels and enough torque to groove the asphalt, it's definitely got the firepower to match its killer looks. Many enthusiasts prefer the small block cars for their superior handling and generally more nimble demeanor, and this Camaro is no exception. Augmented with Edelbrock aluminum heads and topped with a 4-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock aluminum intake, it's breathes easy and delivers quick power up and down the throttle. It's nicely finished with some chrome dress-up and correct Chevrolet orange paint on the block, along with chrome Chevrolet valve covers and a big radiator up front. Long-tube headers dump into a cool-sounding X-pipe dual exhaust system with Pypes mufflers, and the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission offers crisp shifts while spinning the heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end out back. Rounding out this car's list of noteworthy attributes are power front disc brakes, power steering, and slick American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wearing BFGoodrich T/A rubber.

If you haven't experienced the greatest Chevy of all time, this is an ideal opportunity to do so, and if your goal is fun, then few cars will deliver more fun per dollar than this 1969 RS/SS tribute. Call today!
