FRESHENED UP AND SHARP! 258 INLINE 6, 3 SPEED MANUAL, HEAT, RUNS/DRIVES GREAT!

We love this 1974 Jeep CJ5 because it has been restored to be like a true classic Jeep time capsule, and there's less than 250 miles on the build! But as fresh and pretty as everything is, you also never lose the feeling of a capable 4x4.

This is a great reminder of what a true Jeep is. Here was a high-quality restoration where the aim was to remind you of the basic ruggedness of this icon. That's quite a bit harder than it may first seem. To get it right, you need straight body panels, and likely plenty of quality replacement (after all, Jeeps often get used to the fullest.) The minty green they applied has a bright and smooth finish that really highlights how great the body is. The color also provides a good contrast so that you can recognize everything from the beefy steel bumper to the protected rockers. This one pays attention to details, right down to the clean paint inside the fenders and the side-mounted full-size spare tire. But when restoring something for nostalgia, you can't resist just a touch of flair. That's why there's a nice metallic element in the finish, and even the wagon wheels were painted to match. It adds charm without taking away from the vintage ... Please ask for the full description.

It adds charm without taking away from the vintage feeling.

The interior also received the right attention to be clean and stock. Part of the true classic Jeep feeling means an interior that gets down to business rather quickly. That means the central speedometer is the most prominent item in the dash; the heat/defrost controls are still mounted below the metal dash; and the steering wheel is so classic that it will remind you of this 4x4's WWII roots. The comprehensive restoration investment means there have been upgrades, but they are all subtle. For example, you have newer front seats and seatbelts, but they are still classic low-back buckets. The steel floor also has liner paint. And you have a Renegade-style roll bar that's ideal for added safety, added strength, and a way to mount the bikini top that can keep the sunshine off your shoulders.

Just like the rest of this Jeep, this full engine bay has been restored with an eye for careful correctness. So you'll love lifting the hood just to show off what is likely the tidiest CJ you'll ever see. This is an era-correct 258 cubic-inch motor, and while it looks vintage right down to the decals, you can also spot a few of the right upgrades. More modern pieces like the MSD coil are part of what keeps this inline-six firing up easy and running with gusto. You have full control over the motor thanks to the three-speed manual transmission. And while this one might just be too pretty to take off-road (have you seen the undercarriage yet?) it also has the two-speed 4x4 transfer case that keeps it a true go-anywhere Jeep.

Rarely do you find such a great example of a true classic CJ. The way this looks and the investments made really let you know this is a terrific price for a classic Jeep. So don't miss your chance, call today!
