FULLY RESTORED BACK TO ORIGINAL, STRAIGHT 6, RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT

Where do trucks like this come from? Someone found a clean 1968 Ford F100, then gave it a remarkable restoration that kept it stock, including the 240 cubic inch inline-six engine. Go ahead, find another one, let alone one this nice. If you prize stock trucks and not some resto-mod creation, then this is an incredible find.

This is a long wheelbase, long bed truck, so it was obviously built to haul. However, between May 1968 when it was built up in Canada, and today, it doesn't seem to have done much work. Or maybe whomever did the restoration went the extra mile and straightened every dent in the bed, every gouge, every mark that shows it ever carried a load, and then coated it in period-perfect Meadowlark Yellow paint. The flanks are equally straight, and given the details of the F100 design, most notably that crease that runs along the sides, it shows off how much time was invented in the restoration. The bumpers are painted white as they were when they were new, although they're probably a little shinier than original, but that's hardly a demerit. The chrome and trim was polished up when it was restored, and a quick buff would bring them back to full brightness without a lot of work. ... Please ask for the full description.

Seriously, you'll never see one restored to this level ever again.

The truck becomes all the more remarkable given the no-nonsense interior that sticks to the factory specs. Black upholstery on the bench seat replicates the factory stuff and is stylish and durable, perfect for the environment in which it was intended to work. The door panels are simply painted to match the body, with the floor covered by a simple rubber mat so you can hose it out after a day in the field. And yes, you'll note three pedals on the floor, with 3-on-the-tree shifting. The instruments appear to be original and are nicely preserved, and in 1968, an AM radio was standard equipment, as were the heater and defroster-finally! And it has all been restored to stock condition, without even a basic radio upgrade, which makes this truck truly intriguing. When we see vehicles like this, we're always amazed that they end up so stock, and it's always a pleasant surprise.

You know a restoration stuck to the original formula when you see the original 240 cubic inch inline-six under the hood. Rebuilt and detailed for show, it's dressed in Ford Blue from the original air cleaner to the block. You can tell how solid this truck was by looking at the inner fenders and firewall, and little stuff like the plug wires, fuel pump, and even a reproduction decal up top give it a showroom-fresh look. It starts easily with a very truck-like grumble from the exhaust, which looks almost new underneath. In fact, have a look under there and you'll find that it's fully restored, solid, and ready to go. Even the original steel wheels were painted white (they were all white no matter what color the truck was) then finished with 215/75/15 whitewall radials and simple hubcaps.

What you're really buying here is love-someone loved this Ford and gave it a high-quality restoration that can be shown proudly. Call today!
