VERY SHARP CUSTOM 3100! 350 V8, 700R4 AUTO, A/C, POWER STEER/BRAKES, FRONT DISCS

The Advance Design pickups are on the radar with enthusiasts, and if you've been holding off waiting for a deal, here's a newsflash: they will not be getting cheaper. The good news is that you can own this beautifully built 1950 Chevy 3100 3-Window, not for $75,000 or $65,000, but quite a bit less. A powerful 350 V8 Crate motor, automatic overdrive transmission, and a custom suspension punctuated with power front-wheel disc brakes - all wrapped in a slick two-tone presentation that turns heads everywhere it goes. This dialed-in 3100 is a super-cool, custom street machine that's ready to run right now, and with a pedigree like this it won't last long.

It's hard not to get drawn in by an interesting pickup like this one. Finished in Eggshell White over Orange and done to a high standard, this 71+ year old has a serious dose of timeless attitude. Custom touches like the front bumper delete, rear roll pan, shaved handles, and side-exit exhaust give this beauty a look that stands out from the crowd. Finished a few years back, the two-tone paint job is incredibly unique, and although it's no longer a perfect show queen and does show some minor imperfections, the driver-quality finish still has ...

Finished a few years back, the two-tone paint job is incredibly unique, and although it's no longer a perfect show queen and does show some minor imperfections, the driver-quality finish still has great depth and luster, with a smooth shine thanks to the gallons of clearcoat that were laid down on top of the urethane. The Creamsicle-style paint scheme also draws plenty of attention to the bright five-bar grille that is an artistic icon today, and the color-matched fiberglass bed cover lifts up to reveal a beautiful bed, expertly crafted with oak wood and chrome slats. The outside of the bed is an aesthetic marvel as well, with capped rails and lots of smoothed angles, and even the tailgate was beautifully designed and adorned with orange 'Chevrolet' script. The raked stance is wicked, with stock-style dog dish hubcaps and beauty ring accents giving wonderful contrast to the orange steelies, which tuck in nicely under the fat fenders of this 3100.

More beautiful custom work is evident the moment you open the truck's big doors. The original bench seat was swapped in favor of ultra-roomy captain's seats adorned with high-end vinyl and durable cloth inserts, and a custom center console made from scratch ushers in both functionality and added style. Power seats and power windows highlight the options list, a JVC AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth stereo manages the tunes through a custom stereo, and an R134a A/C system installed under the dash are all improvements over the stock '50s cab. The vintage feel is still alive and well thanks to that beautifully finished Art Deco dash that was painted Eggshell White, adorned with brightwork, and filled with modern digital/analog Omega Kustom Instrument Co. gauges that keep a closer eye on the motor and work in concert with the auxiliary units inside the center console. Matching door panels at the flanks continue the theme of the seat upholstery, as does the perforated-style headliner above, and the plush carpets and protective floor mats insulate the cabin from the outside world and give the truck a very completed look and feel. Slip behind the padded 3-spoke steering wheel affixed to a chrome tilt column, grab the bright shifter that manages the AOD transmission, and settle into the comfortable bucket seats for a long, enjoyable cruise.

Under the hood is a slick presentation radiating with color-matched inner fenders and a smoothed firewall, shiny Edelbrock valve covers, ceramic-coated headers, and a matching Edelbrock air cleaner. The crate 350 cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with aluminum heads and is topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a giant aluminum radiator w/electric fan that keeps the whole show nice and cool. It's a motor that allows you to see and feel it's extra kick of power, with the added reliability of modern design and hardware. And the ceramic coated, long-tube headers that feed that Magnaflow dual exhaust system underneath lets you hear that power up and down the throttle, with just enough throaty goodness to scare off the neighbors. This is a great V8 for the streets, and it only gets better when married to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive, spinning the 10-bolt rear end out back. Plus, there's power steering, an upgraded Mustang II front suspension, updated shocks throughout, and the superior stopping prowess of power front-wheel disc brakes. Orange steelies adorned with 'Baby Moon' hubcaps and beauty rings are the perfect complement to the truck, and they're wrapped with thick 215/70/15 front and 225/70/15 rear performance radials.

With a completed frame-off restoration, this is the classic pickup that has the look of a street machine and all the right investments to back it up, too. Nice custom builds like this never stay with us long, so don't miss your chance to own a real winner. Call today!
