Today's SUVs with just three rows of seats just not doing it for you? Need to move a football team AND a stadium? Or do you just want it to look like a presidential motorcade is barreling through your neighborhood? Whatever your reasons for wanting it, this 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 limousine is just plain awesome.

Yeah, this is a big sucker, with the Suburban's already massive wheelbase extended sufficiently to add a third set of doors and another row of seats. However, looking closely, you can see where the $150,000 was spent, because it looks OEM in execution, right down to the running board that mimics the original but is about 15 inches longer. Too cool. With only 16,724 miles on it, this big hauler is barely broken-in and it remains in fantastic condition throughout. The black paint shines up nicely and shows that it was never used as a work vehicle. It's still got a lot of presence and now that GM no longer makes ¾-ton Suburbans of any kind, this one is also kind of useful if you've got big stuff to move. The blacked-out grille, cool headlights, and built-in fog lamps are all OEM, and if you didn't know better, you might think this was something somebody bought at the local Chevy dealer. But you'd better believe people notice this monster cruising through traffic and assume someone important is on board.

This Suburban is as far from a truck as you're going to get inside, with black leather on all four rows of seats in an OEM pattern. The warm woodgrained details help move it upscale, and there's plenty of room for 10 people, maybe more if they know each other well enough. Every effort was made to incorporate OEM features, so the door panels, switches, and even the overhead A/C vents all were made by GM and adapted to this custom Suburban. There are also TV screens in the back of the front seat headrests, and it's linked to a satellite receiver on the roof. All the usual stuff is standard, including the powerful A/C system, power windows, seats, mirrors, and locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, and more. There's also an AM/FM/navigation setup in the center of the dash that sounds great in the well-insulated cabin and the PA system with sirens should be used judiciously. And thanks to the extended wheelbase, cargo capacity is unaffected, so there's still plenty of room for your gear.

All 2500s came with the 6.0 liter LS V8, which makes this mammoth truck feel relatively lively around town. It's an iron block version of the Corvette engine, so it's bulletproof reliable and it's backed by all the heavy-duty hardware you need in a machine like this. Big radiator, transmission cooler, heavy-duty power steering system, and more. It's completely stock, and as I said, with so few miles it should run for another 20 years. It's backed by GM's 4L80E 6-speed automatic transmission that provides effortless highway cruising, although you're not going to win any fuel economy awards. It's too big to fit on our lift, so we can't show you the bottom of the truck, but it's extremely clean, befitting its low mileage and southern habitat, and the heavy-duty suspension seems to ride especially well with some extra wheelbase attached to it. Massive 4-wheel disc brakes are shockingly powerful and stop this big rig with relative ease. Those big aftermarket wheels give it an aggressive look and carry relatively recent Goodyear Wrangler radials.

If you look at Suburbans, you'll see that they hold their value better than almost any other truck you can own. This one would be outrageously expensive to duplicate, but here it is, ready to go, for less than half price and less than a standard new one. Add in the fact that the ¾-ton 'Burbs have gone the way of the dodo, and you have an awesome heavy hauler that's impossible to replace. Call today!
