This is a sharp-looking, agile ride that really presents nicely. Its exterior is in fine shape, with well-aligned body panels and black paint that still holds a deep shine and is free from any glaring dings or dents. Upon closer inspection, you'll also notice that those distinctive graphics, part and parcel of this Bronco's elevated Free-Wheeling status, are still vibrant. The windows surrounding the cabin, including the pair mounted on the shell, are nice and clear, and the bumpers, both fore and aft, show no signs of having run afoul of immovable objects. Almost everything remains in stock configuration, with the only obvious exception being an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with an auxiliary port now situated at the center of the dash. The level of functionality inside these doors is strong. The interior lights, instrument panel gauges, and factory air conditioning all function as intended. When it comes time to veer off the asphalt and take on rougher terrain, the lever engaging this Ford's 4-wheel drive agility is within easy reach on the transmission tunnel.

In addition to its nostalgia-inducing looks, this Bronco is a very capable driver, both on and off the road. It's powered by a 351 cubic-inch Windsor V8 that's running in good form and is fed by a Holley 4-barrel carburetor perched on a Weiand intake manifold to add some aftermarket performance. Fire up the engine, tap on the accelerator, and you'll hear a nice deep exhaust note emanating from the long tube headers leading out to a pair of Flowmaster mufflers. It starts up on cue, accelerates without hesitation, and the accompanying 4-speed manual transmission shifts easily and without slippage.
