Oh look, another clean 1970 Chevrolet Camaro, right? Well, you're half right. This is definitely clean and it's definitely a second-generation Camaro, but it also packs a brand new ZZ4 350 cubic inch V8 with all the right hardware to back it up, cold A/C, and some upgraded wheels to make it handle. This is a no-excuses F-body that's ready to enjoy right away.
This Camaro has been repainted just once in its original code Y Daytona Yellow, which is really the right choice on a Camaro with this much performance inside. Sprayed 25 years ago, it still looks quite good with fantastic bodywork underneath that keeps all of the original good looks of the second-gen Camaro intact; there's not even a cowl induction hood. It does, however, wear a correct SS grille, a subtle rear spoiler, and, of course, the black SS stripes that only help the look. Great gaps, nice chrome, and that beautifully preserved original vinyl top all make it look racy without being over-done. There's also high-quality brightwork, including bright bumpers, polished stainless window surrounds, and those four familiar round taillights that look fantastic.
The black interior looks quite stock at first glance, but once you climb ... Please ask for the full description.

The black interior looks quite stock at first glance, but once you climb behind the wheel you'll find a lot of smart upgrades. First of all, those buckets are from a 2002 Camaro yet they look exactly right here, maybe because of the F-body DNA. The seats feature cloth inserts that are grippy and comfortable and the rear seats have been upholstered to match. Matching black carpets, nice-looking door panels, and a dashboard full of modern instruments helps it feel updated without erasing the vintage vibe. A three-spoke steering wheel with a leather rim seems appropriate in a car with this much performance and the horseshoe shifter now manages four gears instead of three thanks to a fresh 200-4R 4-speed automatic transmission. The A/C blows ice cold and a modern AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo radio is neatly installed in the center of the dash with a subwoofer in the trunk. The overall effect is very, very impressive.
Yes, you did read that correctly, a brand new ZZ4 350 cubic inch crate motor from General Motors Performance Parts was dropped between the fenders and completely transforms the vintage Camro. It's beautifully dressed with lots of chrome and polished aluminum, those high-visibility finned valve covers, and a few splashes of color like the bright red plug wires. A big Holley carburetor and aluminum intake keep the small block fed and aluminum heads reduce weight while adding power. The aforementioned 200-4R transmission doesn't seem to mind the torque and with a 10-bolt out back full of 3.73 gears on a Posi, very few horses are escaping. The undercarriage is clean and it's been upgraded to handle the power with a bunch of Hotchkiss suspension upgrades. Long-tube headers feed a custom X-pipe and a pair of Flowmaster mufflers, so the soundtrack is spectacular at any speed. Trick 17-inch Rally wheels are some of the best-looking rolling stock you can put on a vintage Chevy and are fitted with 225/50/17 front and 275/50/17 rear Nitto radials.
Upgraded just the way you'd do it yourself, this very cool Camaro is the kind of car that earns respect the hard way and looks awesome doing it. Call today!
