The guys at Chevrolet know how to throw a party, and for the Corvette's 60th birthday, they brewed up this super cool anniversary model that mixes and matches the best components from the various Corvette models to create something truly special. And with just 27,488 miles on the clock, this one is beautifully preserved and a must-have for any serious Corvette collector.

Even in white this is not a subtle car, not with the silver stripes and blacked-out wheels. The look is definitely an upgrade over the base 'Vette and makes this anniversary model stand out among its distinguished peers. It's quite distinctive in its Arctic White paint with silver-blue stripes (note that the stripes continue on the convertible top, too!), and the voluptuous convertible bodywork never looked better. It's got a pair of fog lights in the front fascia, along with a deep lower spoiler, plus the somewhat subtle spoiler out back, all of which do more than look good. Like the exterior, the interior is very nicely preserved with almost no signs of use, even on the leather seating surfaces. And looking around, you can see just how far the Corvette guys have come in upgrading the Corvette's interior, because every surface feels rich to the touch and the color is both consistent and subtle, so you'll never get tired of being behind the wheel. There's more Corvette goodness in the form of a slick-shifting 6-speed manual automatic transmission with paddles on the steering column, lightweight aluminum pedals, and a grippy steering wheel wrapped in suede, so it feels suitably racy. The aforementioned convertible top does sport fabric stripes of its own and stows in seconds under the hard-shell deck.

The 6.2 liter LS3 V8 makes 430 horsepower, enough to humble even the most potent Corvettes of yore. The aftermarket has exploded to help enthusiasts upgrade their C6 Corvettes, but this one remains completely stock, from the air filter to the stock coil cover to the exhaust system, so you know it hasn't been abused or raced. The magnetic shocks are pure magic, making this a high-performance Corvette that's comfortable enough for everyday driving and the giant brakes will keep you out of trouble unless you do something truly foolhardy. In fact, that sums up this anniversary Corvette perfectly: competent, fast, and extremely powerful, yet accessible. This is the pinnacle of C6 evolution and looks the part. Even the gorgeous wheels are designed to show off the huge cross-drilled brake rotors and in black, they make a real statement. They're wrapped in correct 245/40/18 front and 285/35/19 rear Michelin performance radials with lots of life left in them.
