This 1982 Chevrolet C10 pickup isn't a spectacular custom or a fire-breathing muscle truck, but rather a clean, straight, ready-to-use pickup that's either a cheap work truck or an ideal starting point for something amazing. With the growing popularity of these trucks, I'd bet on the latter, because you get laser straight sheetmetal and with an inline-6 engine, you know it's never been abused.
It's the right combination: regular cab with a short bed. It has been repainted at some point in its original light blue metallic, and while it's in good shape, you could give it a good buff to make it even better. It isn't perfect and there are signs of use, but again, it's straight, clean, and not rusty or wrecked, so you've got a lot to work with. Nothing is modified, no cowl induction hood, no stripes, and minimal trim mean that it has a clean, no-nonsense look and you probably spent most of the '80s watching these trucks go about their business all over town. The original grille is in good shape, the shiny chrome bumpers still look good and aren't rusty or twisted, and while you can see that it has led a long life, it was also obviously an easy one. Even the bed is in good order, showing the ... Please ask for the full description.

Even the bed is in good order, showing the usual scuffs and bruises, but nothing critical and if you want to put it back to work, you'll never think twice about throwing some gear in there.
The interior appears to be entirely original and again, not perfect but obviously well-maintained throughout its life. The blue vinyl set cover is wrinkled but still usable and aside from a small split on the driver's side, not damaged. Same goes for the carpets, which are protected by heavy-duty mats, and the factory door panels which now feature upgraded speakers. The gauges are basic (which is the term you can use for this entire truck; it's pretty light on options) but everything works and if you've driven one of these in the past (which is just about everyone) then it'll feel very familiar when you climb in. Even the dash pad is in good order. The upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo sounds decent and a sliding rear window keeps the cabin comfortable no matter the weather.
And check it out under the hood! That's a 250 cubic inch inline-6, the base engine in the C10 but rarely seen these days. It's virtually indestructible, so if you still want to work it's certainly willing. It has been properly maintained all its life and while it's not pretty, it runs beautifully and should continue to do so for the foreseeable future. A 2-barrel carburetor, HEI ignition, and a surprisingly big radiator all make it reliable and easy to maintain, and it still looks quite stock in there, right down to the intake hose for the air cleaner. A newer master cylinder and battery mean it's ready to drive, and power steering is included. The TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts well and there are reasonable gears out back so it's comfortable just about anywhere. A new exhaust system features a catalytic converter, so it should make the smog police happy and with newer shocks, a very clean undercarriage, and recent 255/70/15 radials on steel mag wheels, it's ready to roll.
Priced right, this is an inexpensive way to own a truck that's ready, willing, and able to get to work. Or better yet, cash in on these trucks' growing popularity and turn it into a custom that will attract attention. Either way, it's a great choice. Call today!
