Description

This 1976 Chevrolet C10 Stepside Restomod is wears a cool blue paint finish with a great patina that gives this truck extra character and hot rod attitude. Its low-profile stance was achieved with an air bag system on all four corners and by notching the frame in the rear and tubbing the front to allow 22-inch polished US Mag wheels wrapped with 255/30ZR22 tires in front and 285/35R22 in the rear. Clean and bright chrome bumpers and trim, a billet grill and small round custom taillights complete the look.

The custom red interior really pops against the blue exterior, with red diamond stitched bench seat, wood-rimmed billet steering wheel, digital gauges, color matched dash, door panels, carpet and more. The air bag switches and gauges are easy to use and are mounted just under the dash. The air conditioning system blows ice-cold thanks to an upgraded air conditioning compressor charged with R134a.

The clean engine bay features an upgraded 5.3-litre V8 engine paired to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission that sends power back to a 12-bolt rear end and a 4-link suspension system. The engine has a Norris cam, push rods and springs, as well as a new oil pump, gaskets, timing chain, cam bearings, water pump, thermostat, coils, wires, plugs, injectors, aluminum radiator and air intake. The engine runs and sounds great rumbling through shorty headers and Black Widow mufflers.
