FRESH RESTORATION W/ GM NOS PARTS, NEW CRATE 350 V8, 700R4 AUTO, A/C, LOADED!

Any sighting of a vintage Chevy pickup restored to top form is a definite mood elevator, but when you encounter one that's been impeccably restored from the ground to the stellar condition of this 1987 Chevrolet C10, it's an even greater trigger for enthusiasm. Bottom line, this is simply an outstanding specimen - the result of a blank-check restoration full of NOS parts, a fresh GM 350 V8 motor, and an insanely nice Apple Red livery with huge curb appeal. If you're looking for a 'brand-new' Box Chevy truck, your search is over, because we're confident that there's not another cleaner '87 2WD shortbox out there right now.

The radiant shine of this Chevy's Code 72 Apple Red exterior will grab your attention right off the bat. The paint is in fantastic shape, and with only 270 miles on the build it shows no signs of use with a finish that sits squarely in the 'better than factory' category. And it was done right too, with nary a hard paint line or imperfection in the jams to be found. There are also no worries here about the color's tendency to magnify any flaws it might exhibit on this truck - there's really nothing of note to encounter in that department. The texture of the paint is ... Please ask for the full description.

The texture of the paint is like glass and it wears a collection of chrome that's looking very strong - the bumpers both fore and aft are really impressive - and the badging on all sides really pops against such a beautiful, background. Same story for that awesome grille up front that sets the tone, and all the body moldings are GM NOS, so you know they look great. The stance on display here really strikes a great balance - factory raked just enough to confer a definite air of aggression, along with a little added pop from the chrome wheels.

It's pretty rare that you come across an interior that's still in original configuration while boasting the super-clean condition of this one. In all respects it looks pretty much as it did when this C10 first left the showroom - you'd have to look long and hard just to find any evidence of wear on the fresh gray cloth bench seat, and the new carpet lining the floor is unusually fresh for this vintage, sealing up the cab tightly thanks to a thick layer of Dynamat insulation underneath. The dash pad spanning the width of the cabin is in great shape and all original, while just below the original instrument panel harbors a collection of clear functional gauges neatly organized to the left of the speedometer due to this Silverado's option package. Factory air conditioning blows cold and strong through the in-dash vents thanks to an R134a upgrade and a correct-looking Delco AM/FM stereo with a CD player now sits in place of the original to offer a broader array of audio options. Power window, locks, a tilt steering column, factory Quartz clock, dual fuel tanks, and a sliding rear window round out the options inside the cab, while out back a professionally applied spray-in bedliner and rubber mat protects the bed, leaving it in top form.

This vintage truck offers plenty of readily available, dependable power on tap. The fresh GM 'K-Code' 350 cubic inch V8 crate motor was purchased and installed at a Chevrolet dealership, and it sits in a beautifully restored engine compartment - not surprising, consider the pristine appearance shown by the rest of the truck. It's fed by a throttle body fuel injection system that sits just underneath the correct snorkeled air cleaner set-up, and everywhere you look there's a brand-new NOS or restored part. The result is a 270 mile truck that drives just like it did in 1987, check, better than it did in 1987. A turn of the key and a tap on the gas will bring a smile to your face - this is a very smooth powerplant and it sounds great as it sings out of its new 3-inch exhaust. It pairs with a completely rebuilt/upgraded 4-speed automatic 700r4 transmission whose overdrive gear equips this classic with excellent, low revving manners at highway speeds. With featured power steering, it's also an easy navigator and power brakes that position discs up front make for low effort, dependable stops. A set of show-stopping 18-inch chrome Ridler wheels are wrapped with fresh rubber, and that little bit of added bling adds just the perfect finishing touch on this ultra-sharp classic. And one quick peak at the undercarriage, with its new components and completely sandblasted and painted frame and pans, and you'll see just how thorough this build really was.

With a blank-check restoration and an incredibly vision by the former owner to use mostly NOS parts, you couldn't duplicate the build of this truck for what we're asking. And when you consider that it only has 270 miles on the clock, the value looks that much better. It'll be tough to find a better one than this, and because of that we think it won't last long.
