While it may not be the first model that comes to mind when considering 1960s muscle cars, this 1964 Ford Falcon will ensure you never forget it again. Although originally designed as a small commuter car for the North American market, this restomod boasts a far more aggressive look, complete with a full dark green repaint. Straight lines, LED headlights, and a big hood scoop accentuate the sporty attitude of this pillarless hardtop even before you fire up the engine.

Inside, we find a clean and modified stock interior. Along with the standard mid-60s Ford dashboard and HVAC controls, this Falcon features a nifty wood-rimmed steering wheel and a set of three white-faced Sunpro auxiliary gauges mounted under the dash, along with a big 8,000 RPM tachometer to allow you to crack off the perfect 1-2 shift every time. The custom center console is easy to overlook, as it is so well done that it appears as if it were factory-made.

Under that scooped hood, we find out what puts the 'muscle' in this muscle car. The 347 cubic inch stroker V-8 features lightweight aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold, and a Holley Sniper EFI system. A set of shorty headers feeds into a dual ... Under that scooped hood, we find out what puts the 'muscle' in this muscle car. The 347 cubic inch stroker V-8 features lightweight aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold, and a Holley Sniper EFI system. A set of shorty headers feeds into a dual exhaust capped off with a set of sweet-sounding FlowMaster mufflers. If a bit more power and a lot more sound are required, there is also a set of dual electronic exhaust cut-outs to bypass most of the exhaust and get right down to business. Power is funneled through a Borg Warner T5 manual transmission before being sent to the eight-inch rear end, and ultimately to the rear wheels, where fifteen-inch aluminum American Racing Torq Thrust wheels await, shod in 225/60R-15 Cooper rubber. At the same time, a narrower set of power-assisted 195/60R-15 tires handles steering duties up front.

This 1964 Ford Falcon rides on a suspension that consists of an independent front setup with control arms and coils, while a traditional solid axle and leaf spring arrangement is used in back to remind you what an old-school ride should be. Although the Falcon may not have originally been thought of as a muscle car, many forget that Ford based its then-new Mustang primarily on the Falcon's underpinnings, and no one questions the Mustang's muscle car DNA. So, if you've been looking for a retro ride that has undergone an impressive restomod, then don't wait another second because this is the car you've been waiting for. Call today!
