NICE VINTAGE CHEVY TRUCK! 350 V8, AUTO, GREAT COLOR COMBO, RUNS/DRIVES GREAT!

Pickup trucks are undoubtedly one of the fastest-growing segments of the hobby, and it's no secret why. 350 V8 power, lots of parts and knowledge around, and unmatched practicality that makes them an easy purchase to justify, all which make this 1977 Chevrolet C10 Silverado short bed worthy of a closer look.

Remember seeing trucks like this around town, maybe loading up at the hardware store or pulling a trailer? A lot of us do, which makes these Chevys in particular a sentimental favorite. We don't know if this handsome shade of Pewter is how this one came from the factory, but it sure gives the old pickup a great look that's right for just about any occasion today. The paint does have some age on it, but it's a handsome and period-correct shade that shows incredibly well, and it's still in very good driver-quality shape overall even upon closer examination. Sure, it's no longer perfect, but it's still dialed-in and all-stock, just like it was almost 45 years ago, and it really looks great with all of its trim in place, including the eggcrate grille up front and tailgate panel in the rear. The bed is in remarkably good condition, indicative of a truck that hasn't been used for work and ... Please ask for the full description.

The bed is in remarkably good condition, indicative of a truck that hasn't been used for work and was instead a daily driver, and it's been finished with protective spray-in bedliner material so you don't have to worry about putting some gear back there yourself. Nice chrome bumpers look great against the silver paint, and if we had to wager, we'd say that they're probably original pieces just like the profile trim, which gives you an idea of how well-kept this truck really is.

The handsome red interior is in similar condition, with what appears to be an original seat cover, and everything else in very good stock condition as well. Even in 1977, a lot of trucks came with simple rubber floor mats, so the carpets in this hauler are much appreciated and suit the somewhat luxury-oriented Silverado-trimmed truck. It has a rather unusual combination of options, including factory A/C and a sliding rear window, and there's an AM/FM stereo radio in the dash. The steering wheel is likely the original unit as well, as are the door panels adding a bit of sophistication to the vintage design. This C10 also includes a full complement of instruments that are in fairly good shape with minor fading on the lenses themselves, which is typical. Soft vinyl parts like the dash pad and door panels are nicely preserved as well, while the headliner above is taut and well-finished.

You could get an Inline-6 six in your full-sized Chevy, but most guys opted for V8 power. You'll find a 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood here, which is a great choice for the guy who just wants to drive his truck and doesn't plan any heavy hauling. It's a strong motor that's running great today, complete with a 4-barrel carburetor and performance intake up top, an Edelbrock air cleaner, and a pair of finned Edelbrock valve covers. Otherwise, it appears quite stock, which is a good thing for reliability and you know that it hasn't been abused. It also looks like there's some fresh wiring and signs of a recent tune-up, because it runs great. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and original 12-bolt rear end complete the powertrain, and the underside of this truck is in good order if not totally detailed and shiny. The exhaust system was upgraded with long-tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers at some point not long ago, so it has a great V8 exhaust note and original Rally wheels carry big 235/70/15 whitewall radials.

For not a lot of money, you can own a sweet-running vintage truck with a V8, and if anyone complains, just show them how much work it can do on the weekends. Call today!
