Description
This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute has that timeless and commanding look we all love in a coupe built in the best of the muscle car era. And beneath this skin, you can see it lives up to its boldness with a powerful 454 V8 big block and four-on-the-floor.
This Chevelle strikes that ideal balance of power and style in a package that's always ready to hit the road. The upgraded orange has a bold style that has a nice shine, but it also makes sure to be driver-quality and driver-ready. So it's the kind of car you decide to take out whenever the mood strikes you, and there will be plenty of long stares from people in crossovers who wish they were you. Good panels, well-fitting doors, and a bright shine from the bumpers are all part of a proper vintage style. And of course, the SS-style upgrades are eye-catching. The cowl hood, correct badges, polished wide dual exhaust tips, and mag-style wheels have the right muscle car style. Those racing stripes were even painted on for a permanent distinction.
The full black interior makes for the right Super Sport atmosphere. The fundamentals like the dash pad, carpeting, and upholstery are crisp and clean. This even appears to be a factory air conditioning car. But most of the components were removed to focus on power and driving. There are front bucket seats, a center console in-between, a classic three-spoke sports steering wheel, and an auxiliary gauge trio under the dash. And we just bet that your right hand will never want to leave the cue ball Hurst shifter.
Under the hood is a clean presentation of a 454 cubic-inch V8 big block. The polished valve covers and air grabber give the right flair to the overall tidy style. It has been given all the right performance investments like a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, long tube headers, and a sweet-sounding X-pipe dual exhaust. And there are supporting components that keep it a strong driver, like the HEI ignition, newer plugs, newer wires, and an aluminum radiator. The Muncie M21 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission means you have complete control over the motor, and it feeds into a stout 12-bolt rear end. There's also power steering, power brakes, and front discs for all-around solid driving.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, maintenance records, and a partial factory buildsheet. This SS tribute has the right big block power and iconic style to be a terrific all-around fun hardtop. Call today!!!
