Serious V8 power, an awesome stance, a big rumble, and it's all wrapped in an impressively bright red package - that's why this 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 knows how to command attention. And since this thoughtful build gives you nice extras like four-wheel disc brakes, this hardtop is the stunner that you'll want to take everywhere.
Red is always a favorite on the classic machines, and this one takes that appeal up a notch or two. It has a terrific gloss and shine that tells you there was an investment in a modern professional application. Plus, the chrome bumpers and brightwork trim were also given a solid investment to keep it all looking radiant. New headlights, pliable weather stripping, and good gaps are all part of a thoughtful presentation that proves this is a quality classic without you ever saying a word. More than looking stylish, the Galaxie of this era was designed to be mean with stacked headlights and a long hardtop profile. And those 20-inch polished Ridler wheels with a meatier rear set bring together the shine and aggression that's seen everywhere in this coupe.
The black interior has an inviting atmosphere, with all the fundamentals from the carpeting to the headliner ... Please ask for the full description.

The black interior has an inviting atmosphere, with all the fundamentals from the carpeting to the headliner looking nice and clean. And we love how this one prefers to keep its vintage style with two wide rows of clean/comfy bench seats, the thin/grippy steering wheel, and a long dash that has a speedometer that looks like the horizon. Even the classic AM radio is still on display... but the real cruising music comes from a Rockford Fosgate Bluetooth setup. Plus, we like that it reveals more of its driver-ready nature with the Sunpro auxiliary gauges and large
And the ultra-smooth red inner walls are there to really funnel your attention to the powerhouse in the middle. With the level of polish and tidiness, you'll proudly lift the hood at the car shows. At the center is a 289 cubic-inch Windsor V8. Plus, it's upgraded with a full Edelbrock suite. This includes a 1406 four-barrel carburetor w/electric choke, a Performer 289 intake, ribbed valve covers, and a matching air grabber. There are also quality supporting components, like new hoses and belts, as well as aluminum radiator and electric fan. The headers add power while also contributing to the sweet tune of the newer dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. It's a nice rumble, and any time you want to make this one roar there are electric cutouts to really bring the thunder. It all makes for a very nice power package that moves this classic with confidence. And it's an overall solid cruiser with power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors.
