NICE CUSTOM, 350 V8, 700R4 AUTO, COLD A/C, CUST INTERIOR/PAINT, PWR WIN/LOCKS!

The El Camino has an interesting social status that gives it plenty of personality. After all, it's hard not to love a vehicle that's both a comfy cruiser, and a versatile pickup. But when it's been given a crate 350 motor, custom paint, and an upgraded A/C interior, well then, the desire for this 1983 Chevrolet El Camino reaches far beyond its affordable price.

You already know there was a ton spent on the paint. You can instantly see it in how the clearcoat projects a uniform shine over both the burgundy and gray two-tone metallic colors. And there's an accent stripe that follows this color separation, even over the S-pattern behind the doors, is a true custom appearance that always attracts attention. But, this is far from the only custom touch. Up front the power bulge cowl hood is an iconic symbol of Chevy power, and this one has some cool pinstriping that is seen throughout the rest of the body. The billet grille does a great job of framing the flat four-headlight front end that almost looks like it was borrowed from Cadillac. And speaking of Caddy inspirations, have you seen how those tall DeVille taillights have been integrated into the rear? It's part of a full custom ... Please ask for the full description.

It's part of a full custom appearance that includes the roll pan and tonneau bed cover. The final piece to the package is the set of 15-inch premium wheels borrowed from the final generation Chevrolet S-10. That just seems like a perfect fit to connect this El Camino to its premium, custom, and pickup heritage.

Open the door to more investment into making this one cool custom. The door panels, carpeting, and headliner are all nicely coordinated and have the feeling of custom quality. The split-bench continues this impression of well-coordinated luxury. You have a custom fold-down center console, and power adjustable driver's seat so you can dial-in your exact level of comfort. This one comes loaded with power windows, power locks, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and ice-cold air conditioning. While those features are great for everyone, the best treats are reserved for the driver. You get a grippy Grant GT sports steering wheel, and beyond that, the custom gauge panel full of AutoMeter Sport-Comp readouts is a clear indication that something special is under the hood.

GM offered nothing larger than a 305 cubic-inch V8 for these final generation El Caminos, but that wasn't good enough for this upgraded creation. That's why a 350ci crate motor was installed, and then further enhanced with a Holley 570 CFM Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and headers. But really, it's not the enhancements that will make you lift the hood at the car shows. It's the cool hydro-dipped valve covers and air grabber featuring amazing graphics of pinups that will have everyone talking. When you do get out on the road, the dual exhaust has a great sound, and the 2,600 RPM stall on the 700R4 four-speed automatic will keep you in the powerband longer. These enhancements all go to the heart of a vehicle that was built for driving. After all, unlike other pickups you got in the '80s, this one has a trailing arm rear suspension for added comfort. Plus, features like front disc brakes, power steering, and Michelin tires keep everything quite comfortable over any journey.

This complete custom comes with plenty of paperwork, including the build receipts, maintenance records, and dyno sheet. It's amazing you can get all of this for such an affordable price. That's why we know this custom classic El Camino will be leaving us soon. Call today!!
