SHARP FIRST GEN CAMARO, 383 STROKER, TH400, FORD 9" REAR, RS HIDEAWAYS, CLEAN!

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS tribute loves to be a true enthusiast's machine. It has a performance-built stroker motor, four-wheel disc brakes, a loaded interior, iconic upgrades, and a head-turning color combo inside and out. It's the kind of car that creates envy upon arrival.

Cortez Silver is a 1969-correct color, but this one has a sleeker and smoother shine that tells you that you're looking at a modern application. And there was much more invested to give this the best of everything that makes this Camaro an icon. This includes the full Z/28 upgrade with the deep chin spoiler, cowl hood, D80 full-width spoiler, and correct badging. The Z/28's racing stripes are painted in a bold glowing red to heighten the car's distinction. It makes for an awesome-looking icon all on its own. But this one takes it up another notch with the ultra-desirable Rally Sport package with a blacked-out grille and concealed headlights. This was part of a full nut-and-bold restoration that was completed in 2002. But there is a level of care and maintenance here that puts far newer projects to shame. Mirror-like chrome bumpers, complete trim, and fresh weather-stripping give this an overall look of ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Mirror-like chrome bumpers, complete trim, and fresh weather-stripping give this an overall look of quality even in the little details. And those Billet Specialties wheels get tons of attraction with their shine and aggressive stance.

The red accents of the outside are a preview of the full red interior. This was a full color changeover and so there's a fresher look and feel in the fundamentals like the upholstery, carpeting, door panels, headliner, and smooth dash pad. This one wants to be a great all-around classic, and so you have the potential for added comfort just by upgrading the stereo, and the air conditioning system is updated to a modern R134a setup but it will likely need a recharge. There's even a removable cup holder armrest console. But what really makes this terrific is how it has the best pieces for a driver's classic. You have a wood-rimmed Chevy sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and beyond that is a large speedo and desirable tach. The center console even has all your vintage favorites like the quad auxiliary gauge pack and horseshoe shifter.

The engine bay instantly announces this one has a big power heart. It's a fully-built setup that we're told starts with a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 with an Eagle rotating assembly. It's an enhanced and fortified package with Camfield aluminum heads, Crane roller rockers, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with a Demon four-barrel carburetor. Those long tube headers add even more power as they contribute to the rumble of the dual exhaust. The stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is already built for performance, and the consignor states it's enhanced further with a shift kit and 3800 stall. This sends the power to a limited-slip Ford 9-inch rear with 3.50 gears for confident all-around performance. Add in power steering, modern performance tires, a rear sway bar, and four-wheel power disc brakes, and you've got an awesome total package.

This Z/28 RS tribute has the right look, the right power, and the right features to deliver a package with both awesome power and poise. It's the dream coupe you can't let slip away. Call today!!!
