EASY DRIVING, FUEL INJECTED 383 V8, 700R4 TRANS, A/C, 4 WHL PWR DISC, NICE BUILD

Advanced Design Chevy trucks are the perfect place to start a custom build, and this is a great example why. This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 takes the upright tough appearance of the sheetmetal and mixes in custom paint, A/C interior, and a fuel-injected V8 to create a cool and quick American icon.

The metallic orange on this pickup looks so candy-coated you might need to nickname it Tootsie Pop. Of course paint can't look this slick unless it's applied over some of the straightest, and solid bodywork around. Then as you start looking at details, you'll notice the exceptional condition of the brightwork. The tall truck has a huge silver streak, with pieces like its wraparound bumpers, and legendary five-bar grille that stands out like a pristine art deco skyscraper. The better-than-new classic appearance even extends to the bright diamond plate truck bed. All of this combines to give the impression of a custom street rod, and the clincher for this attitude comes from the staggered torque thrust-style wheels.

The interior is full of upgrades without losing the original spirit. The exterior orange is used as the main color on the dash and doors for a very uniform appearance. The buckets seats ... Please ask for the full description.

The buckets seats stay in the GM family, but since their much younger, they provide superior comfort and power adjustment. The driver gets a chrome sports steering wheel, and ahead of that the original dial cutouts now house an AutoMeter Phantom speedo and tach. The customized dashboard has room for a full set of auxiliary gauges because the controls for the AM/FM/CD stereo and ice-cold air conditioning have been moved to a custom console below the readouts. This still leaves room for a floor-mounted Lokar shifter. If all this seems like a nice setup for a performance machine, you'd be correct.

One look under the hood, and there's no mistaking this pickup for anything but a muscle machine. That's a 383 cubic-inch stroker small block V8 with electronic fuel injection. So that means it reliably delivers plenty of power. Even better is how people will hear your superiority thanks to the header-fed Borla exhaust system. Yes, the same people who fabricate some of the best performance exhaust systems in the world are helping this pickup make its mark. But more than just a terrific sound, this Chevy feels great on the road. No matter if you are driving hard or just cruising, the B&M built 700R4 four-speed automatic w/overdrive has all the right moves. It feeds the Ford 9-inch rear that is running versatile 3.55 gears. Up front there's a Mustang II-style independent suspension with thick anti-sway bar. Topping it all off is power steering and a four-wheel disc brake package for superior control.

A stunning show-quality truck that knocks 'em dead wherever it goes and drives everywhere with ease. This awesome Chevy is one heck of a machine. Call today before it's gone tomorrow!
