This 1972 Chevrolet Nova is quite a unique machine. After all, a two-owner car is always alluring. But this one has also gone through a restoration that makes it extra clean and extra mean. So look over the full package, including the powerful small block and four-on-the-floor.
This Nova went through a comprehensive restoration about six years ago, and there have been less than 1000 miles put on it since then. The factory-correct Cream Yellow continues to have the deep gloss of a quality application. And this is the base for everything from great-looking panels to shining chrome bumpers. That's the level of investment and care you get on a cherished one-owner car. And so you would likely expect us to paint the picture of a lazy Sunday cruiser...but as you dig a little deeper, this one is more of a Saturday Night blacktop bruiser. And these redline tires with extra meaty rear set hint at this full package.
The interior was also redone during restoration, and it's all about giving you that classic Nova look. The two wide rows of seats look excellent, and they kick off a full dark package with the carpeting, door panels, dash, and headliner. They got the details right with the ...
They got the details right with the dual-spoke steering wheel, a hint of wood-like trim, and even spatter paint in the trunk. There is an upgraded retro-style AM/FM stereo with aux input, but the Hurst shifter is there to let you know your favorite soundtrack really begins under the hood.
The engine bay is clean and stock style, right down to the markings on the hoses and decals on the radiator support. But as you look at the motor just a bit more, you can start to see the full package. This has been upgraded to a 400 cubic-inch V8, which was the largest displacement Chey gave the small block from the factory. This one inhales deeper with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power as headers feed the dual exhaust. It's built to give you the right control. So the four-speed manual transmission gives you firm control over the power, and there are also power brakes with front discs to confidently scrub the speed. As you look underneath you're going to see a fresh presentation that reminds you how few miles are on this full restoration. We really know you won't be able to resist adding to the odometer of something this cool.
Complete with restoration photos and build receipts, this is a unique way to present a two-owner classic. So if you love an awesome Nova with a story to tell, call today!
