NUMBERS MATCH 350CI MOTOR & TRANS, TRIPLE BLACK DROP TOP, TILT/TELESCOPIC!

This is a 1971 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with some added pep in its numbers-matching V8. So of course it deserves the mean triple-black treatment. And not only were the colors upgraded, but also the overall eye is about a true classic style with the right cool fun driver upgrades.

This car is fundamentally attractive. The panels retain the crisp look that made you instantly fall in love/lust with the Stingray. Plus, the brightwork is gorgeous. It shines to highlight the shark-like front end, polished rockers, and artful two-piece rear bumper. Corvette people know that the factory didn't offer black in '71. But this one was given an upgrade because that's what secretly all want. It's the right mix of a good gloss to showcase the body lines while also not being so fancy that this is a museum piece. And because black upgrades the attitude, there are some cool power car additions, like the LT1 hood. And the Rally wheels look even cooler with their two-piece shining design against a body-matching black steel wheel.

The black folding roof looks great, and so does the full black interior. So not only does this look great with the top up or down, but also you get the ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

So not only does this look great with the top up or down, but also you get the ultra-desirable triple-black (exterior, interior, and roof) that everyone WISHED they could have had in 1971. The rich darkness of the updated interior even includes supple leather bucket sets. For the driver, the three-spoke steering wheel is on a tilt/telescopic steering column. Your essential gauges are in front with a full auxiliary readout package prominently to the side. This is the kind of classic that will make you want to get out and drive, so you get the right features for all-day motoring. This includes power windows, a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo, and provisions for factory air conditioning (it will need updating.)

Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. It looks quite nice with the polished distributor shield, bright air grabber with callout, and finned logo valve covers. We love these hardy small blocks for their upgradeable nature, and so while this is the original block, it has upgrades to earn the cool LT1 hood. This includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake. Plus, a nice set of new Hooker headers with gaskets comes with the sale. So it's a strong-running package that automatically comes with the potential for added growl. The numbers-matching TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit that knows how to handle upgraded power. And the Stingray has great features you don't find on many classics of this era, like four-wheel disc brakes and a fully independent sports suspension. So it's a drop-top you'll love to drive.

The right original pieces and a great triple-back upgrade combine to make a terrific drop-top classic. So don't let this midnight hero slip away, call today!
