5.0L EFI V8, 5-SPEED MANUAL, BEAUTIFUL SILVER PAINT, SIDEPIPES, FACTORY 5 COBRA!

A quicksilver appearance, cool interior details, and a properly growling fuel-injected V8 make this 1965 Shelby Cobra Factory Five a terrific Cobra replica. After all, it delivers the classic pure speed machine feeling you love, and at the same time, it also has the extra distinction to attract attention even when parked.

The paint instantly makes this one a shining star. The bright silver almost looks like polished bare metal, which is quite cool on a lightweight fiberglass car. And there is a fortified feeling around this whole car. The build was done in the early 2000s, but Factory Five knows how to do it right. So today there are very few signs of use and the light continues to roll smoothly across the Cobra's famous curves. Another really cool part of the silver paint is that the rest of the car is done in coordinating hues. For example, silver and chrome have an upper-class kind of style. So the bumpers, race gas cap, hood locks, roll hoop, and side pipes are great brightwork pieces that add to both the poise and the performance nature. Plus, the Halibrand-style wheels have a cool/classic knock-off appearance and multiple shades of silver and grey to go with the full ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Plus, the Halibrand-style wheels have a cool/classic knock-off appearance and multiple shades of silver and grey to go with the full package.

Inside, the red upholstery looks like it belongs in a European car (after all, Carroll Shelby utilized the British AC Ace as a base.) It's a fresh addition done within the last couple of years, and it really set this car apart. And there are beautiful details, like the red stitching on the suede-like dash and leather limit straps on the doors. Even the driver's setup has terrific features, like the Simpson racing harnesses, a wood-rimmed AC steering wheel, and a full set of newer Factory Five gauges, including a GPS speedo with a correct reversed speedometer.

The engine bay shows off Ford's famous 5.0-liter V8 as its solid base. There were even quality investments within the last few years like a new rear main seal and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. It fires up with the eagerness you love in a fuel-injected powerhouse, and those side pipes have a sweet V8 tune. The recently rebuilt Tremec 3550 five-speed manual transmission gives you firm control of the power as it feeds into the 4.10 rear end. As you look underneath, you see a performance build with a strong steel frame, newer front suspension components, front disc brakes, and tubular arms on the four-link rear.

The sale comes complete with build receipts, Factory Five info, and shop manuals. You're looking at an iconic roadster that has the right investments to be bolder and more fun to drive. So if you like standing out in all the best ways, call today!
