The best Corvettes are those you can drive, and this 1967 Corvette Sting Ray coupe carries a cackling L79 327/350 that's one of the most underrated performance engines of the period. Nicely finished in great colors, this cool mid-year 'Vette delivers the fun you'd expect at a price that's pretty easy to live with.
Aside from the '63 split-window coupe, the C2 to own is the '67. While the big blocks get all the attention, I think you'll find that this beautiful Lynndale Blue small block car is a spectacular choice that doesn't cost a fortune. It is an original code 977 Lynndale Blue car with a more recent paint job that more than lives up to expectations. Fit and finish are quite good thanks to a lifetime of being treated like it was something special, and when it was being repainted, they added a big block hood with a white stinger because it simply looks awesome. Folding headlights work, the chrome sparkles, and all the stainless shows what living in a warm climate does for the important parts, because it's all still quite shiny. Heck, even the glass still has that ideal Soft-Ray tint that's a boon to these cars, particularly those with dark interiors.
