Hi Performance White seems like the perfect name for the factory-correct paint on this snake-bitten Mustang. The whole coupe is a great modern representation of what Carroll Shelby did to the original Mustang five decades ago. These cars take the retro-look pony coupes, and make them more aggressive. Just in case the lower rocker side stripes and SVT wheels were not enough subtle hints for others to get out of your way, Cobra badges on the grille, fenders, and rear gas cap are the perfect announcement about how hard you bite back (and we haven't even gotten to the best enhancements yet!)

Inside, the black bucket seats might be cowhide leather, but they've got Shelby's trademark snake embossed in them. There are no scuffs on the door sills, no scratches in the dash, and the carpets still look factory fresh – this has positively been someone's baby. Shelbys came only one way, loaded. This means A/C, power windows, power locks, leather wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry, and cruise control are all present and working perfectly. The stereo is the optional AM/FM/CD Shaker unit that pumps out huge power (enhanced by the Kicker subwoofer in the trunk), and it's still modern enough that it comes with an input for your iPod. Under the hood is where things start to get really interesting. This is the original numbers-matching 5.4-liter supercharged V8, but it has been enhanced. The King of the Road (KR) version proved there was more power to be had, and this one has been upgraded with the KR's cold air intake and enhanced mapping. There was also a rumbling Ford Racing performance exhaust added, too. We have the dyno results that prove this one is producing 582 hp at the rear wheels, which is an 8% improvement over what even the KRs officially produced! Ford's six-speed manual transmission is the perfect pairing to this motor so you can always keep in the optimal powerband. But this coupe did not just get engine enhancements. It lives up to the King of the Road name with the full KR suspension package that includes springs, dampers, and stabilizer bars. Add in four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, and you know this Shelby offers the full modern performance package you demand.
