Real truck people know that this 1949 Chevrolet 3100 is something really special. It has real patina, smokestack pipes, and a dually chassis. And the reason why this earns its industrial-grade cool is that there's a torque-filled Cummins turbodiesel under the hood.
This classic 3100 Chevy looks awesome with its real-deal patina. So even before you see all the upgraded details, this one has a weathered robustness, right down to the wood in the truck bed. You have cool classic details like the side-mounted spare tires and full running boards. Plus, there are cool cruiser touches like the Pontiac hood ornament and a windshield sunshade. Cab running lights and 8-lug wheels help to announce that this is a heady dusty kind of machine. And while this was upgraded to a dually chassis, we like that they cut into the cab for the added wheel well space. That way you still keep the classic curves of the 3100's fenders. It now has the polished exhaust smoke stacks (so you just know this will look awesome rolling coal.) There's a proper trailer hitch and wiring plug on the rear. And since this is on an upgraded chassis, and the diesel has serious pulling power, just imagine the look on ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
And since this is on an upgraded chassis, and the diesel has serious pulling power, just imagine the look on everyone's face that sees you hauling some big stuff with your '49 Chevy.
The interior has an industrial-grade style while also giving you the right upgrades for a better cruiser. So you still have the two-piece windshield, simple door panels, and art deco dash. But going for a drive is a bit more comfortable. You now have a later model bench seat with better bolstering, headrest, and comfy cloth upholstery. The 1970s-style Chevrolet steering wheel is a cool rat rod piece in a matching green, and now it's on a tilt column. And below the dash are a full array of auxiliary readouts, including a boost gauge that you rarely see on a 1940s machine.
Under the hood is a BIG upgrade. This now has a 5.9-liter 12V Cummins turbodiesel. This is a long-standing torque monster, and so it has the right upgrades around it. This includes a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and Chevy C20 rear end. And the truck is riding on an updated truck chassis. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs, and this patina pickup is a solid all-around driver.
How cool is it to have a 1949 classic truck with some serious diesel dually capabilities? Oh yes, you can't miss this deal. Call today!!!
