This 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback has a bold look, a healthy 289 V8, and plenty of competition-ready features. It makes for the kind of custom classic that you'll love to show and drive.
Ford had some awesome colors in 1969, but this one seems to be even bolder than Grabber Green. It's a more recent and professional application that looks like it could almost glow in the dark. And we not only like the paint for its vibrant style, but also the way it really makes you take note of the contrasting black performance pieces. It includes the deep chin spoiler, hood stripes, hood scoop, blackout rear panel, rear window louvers, and full-width rear spoiler. And the Boss 302 stripe package is not only iconic, but it also highlights how well the doors fit on this quality coupe. But our favorite piece might just be the wheels. They look like classic Mustang mags, but these are modern alloys with a 17-inch size that lets you fit modern tires.
With that much dark intimidation on the outside, it's only fitting to have a full black interior. There are some nice details, like the redone high-back bucket seats, a touch of wood trim on the doors, and Boss 302 floor mats. But what will really have ... Please ask for the full description.

With that much dark intimidation on the outside, it's only fitting to have a full black interior. There are some nice details, like the redone high-back bucket seats, a touch of wood trim on the doors, and Boss 302 floor mats. But what will really have your attention are the driver-ready upgrades. The custom center console with a kill switch, push-button stars, Hurst ratchet shifter, and upgraded white-faced readouts - including a large tach - go beyond just some casual parts catalog additions.
Under the hood is a 289 cubic-inch V8 built for show and go. The engine bay looks terrific with the smooth and dark inner walls that match the Ford Racing valve covers and air grabber. And the shock tower support joins the added Monte Carlo bar for some nice flair. This V8 is built with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock hi-rise intake, and Hooker headers feeding into the dual exhaust. You have good supporting components like an MSD distributor, Street Fire ignition, Optima red top battery, and an aluminum radiator. The three-speed automatic transmission feels like it has a shift kit as it feeds the stout Ford 9-inch rear. And subframe connectors, power brakes with front discs, and modern sport tires give you a confident feeling on the road.
The sale comes complete with restoration photos. This is a unique fastback where it has set you on the path for quite a wicked pro street machine in the future. Or you can just enjoy this bold coupe as it is today. So if you love speedy style and performance upgrades in an iconic package, call today!
