272 V8, 2 SPEED AUTOMATIC, ADDED POWER STEERING, BEAUTIFUL COLOR COMBINATION!

The 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria was already desirable for having a larger V8 available than what was in the Chevy. Plus, when you see all the bright chrome and its impressive two-tone style inside and out, you start to really appreciate how this classic is true art deco on wheels.

Following quite close to the 1950s color theme of Bermuda Blue and Snowshoe White, this Fairlane really has a great vintage flair. And you can see that the paint is a later application that was applied with a professional hand. These Fords were instantly recognizable with their sweeping chrome trim that divided the two-tone combinations, and it extended from the headlight all the way back to the tail. It serves to lengthen the car and adds artful angles to the sheet metal. Speaking of the panels, take some time to appreciate how straight it all is and the way the doors close with confidence. Without this attention to detail, this car would not look nearly as sleek as it is. And details are what this car does best. The bright chrome grille is flanked by large parking lights, the Thunderbird inspired the tail lights, and there are rear fender skirts that come with the sale. Plus, that brightwork trim ... 272 V8, 2 SPEED AUTOMATIC, ADDED POWER STEERING, BEAUTIFUL COLOR COMBINATION!

The 1955 Ford Fairlane was already desirable for having a larger V8 available than what was in the Chevy.

Plus, that brightwork trim that reaches over the roof was a true distinction that you didn't see anywhere else.

The turquoise and white interior coordinates nicely with the exterior. We're especially fond of the tuck and roll inserts in the seats that are comfortable to sit in and great to show off when this one is parked. Plus, the side panels, headliner, and dash are all part of this blue and white package to create a quality uniform appearance. And speaking of the dash, we know you love the period-correct touches like the Thunderbird-style Plexiglas speedometer and the AM radio that's there for display. In fact, the only upgrades you may spot just make this classic a better cruiser like the auxiliary gauge trio. The level of detail on this coupe even extends to the trunk where it still has its stand-up full-size spare with correct blue steel wheel.

Part of what makes this a solid classic cruiser is also about what's under the hood. The 272 cubic-inch V8 is the right displacement for the era, and it was larger than the small block V8s over at Chevy. This one looks quite authentic in the engine bay, but you can also see the right signs of good maintenance. Add in power steering and an automatic transmission, and this is the sharp two-tone machine that knows how to hit the boulevard.

You're looking at a complete and cool turn-key cruiser. So when a coupe like this is so nicely priced, you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
