305 V6, 4 SPEED MANUAL, 4X4, GREAT COLOR COMBO, VERY NICE RESTORSTION, MUST SEE!

This 1963 GMC Suburban has that attraction where an honest day's work meets intricate detail and style. So you have bright chrome, a distinct powerhouse, three-row seating, and even a factory 4x4 setup. It's the kind of appeal that comes from a real truck that can be put to real use, but it still turns heads no matter at a cruise-in or a hardware store run.

This is a great year to have a classic Suburban. It was part of the rare few years when the body had a wraparound crease, proving the 1960s were a great time for designers even at GM's truck division. You can see all these details today thanks to great care with the sheet metal. The cement-like gray also has a nice gloss, and so it gives this one a nice mix of sturdy style while also helping to show off the unique body lines. And the white inserts in the center and tailgate give it the right touch of class. Plus, there's excellent chrome on the bumpers and grille. And the upgraded Pacer 16-inch wheels add to this shine while also allowing for modern tires. This gives you a better ride and more versatile rubber to go with the lifted 4x4 usefulness. And this classic GMC is truly handy with other features like large towing mirrors ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

And this classic GMC is truly handy with other features like large towing mirrors and a proper trailer hitch. But what we like best is how this is a very complete package right down to the cool "V6" badge on the front fenders, which is an important piece to a 1963 GMC, but more on that shortly.

This Suburban keeps its workman attitude on the inside, but you can also see and feel a freshness that makes it quite attractive. For example, the main color is the classic fawn beige with a touch of metallic for the right 1960s flair. We love the look of the upholstery with the clean and detailed inserts. Plus, you have a unique configuration where this two-door SUV has the passenger side seat fold forward to give you access to TWO rear rows! It makes this both vintage and versatile. And there's a terrific classic feeling in everything from the sliding rear windows to the two-piece tailgate. The driver gets a classic thin/grippy steering wheel, a tall shifter, and auxiliary readouts under the dash. Plus, the original style gauge package tach has been added, which is exceptionally handy in this stick shift GMC.

GMC invested in one of the first mass-produced V6 engines, and it has a very useful 305 cubic-inch displacement. Plus, we bet you noticed the plaid valve covers. There's a bit of a mystery behind the exact origins, but it was a genuine GMC feature for V6 motors exclusively in 1963. While it's unclear if these are original, they are certainly appropriate and something that few other people are going to have at the car show - even a GMC event. The burly V6 is a nice feature to have because the VIN also indicates that this is a factory 4x4. That's another rare feature that really lets this Suburban stand out. And the four-speed manual transmission has a nice low granny first gear so that you can develop plenty of useful torque. There's a solid feeling to this GMC because there have been the right investments, but we also like that the overall driving experience is a bit old-school that wants you to feel the road.

Complete with build receipts, this GMC gives you rarity, distinction, and true usefulness. So it's an irresistible classic SUV that you just know needs to be yours. Call today!!!
