350 V8, P/S, P/B, FRONT DISC, COLD A/C, MODERN BUCKETS, SUBFRAME CONNECTORS!

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is coming off of long-term ownership. While the best care is always desirable, this one is also attractive because it gives you the best features. This includes a well-built small block, a cool color package, and an upgraded houndstooth interior with cold-blowing A/C.

This Camaro had been under the care of the consignor for the last 33 years. The low odometer even reflects the total mileage under his care. So you know this was a well-respected car, and that feeling is reinforced by the quality of the lines, brightwork, and the straightness of body panels. But this one is attractive for more than just its fundamentals. It has the proper look of a speedy Camaro with a bold red presentation. The paint is an upgrade later in life that retains a nice gloss and shine. It has also been upgraded with some proper Z/28 elements like the blackout grille, front spoiler, badging, and D80 rear spoiler. And of course, the cowl hood looks terrific on a first-gen Camaro. It's topped off with proper Z/28 white racing stripes that have been cleared over to give the car a smooth and sleek total style.

The interior does a terrific job of blending vintage and upgrades. The ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

The best place to see this are the front seats. The houndstooth cloth inserts are a great classic Camaro piece, but the contouring, bolstering, and large headrests all tell you these are far more modern and comfortable buckets. A matching houndstooth rear seat, fresh carpeting, a smooth dash, a good headliner, and other fundamentals make this quite inviting. The classic Camaro sports steering wheel is now joined by upgrades like auxiliary readouts under the dash and a B&M floor shifter. And since this is the kind of car where you're going to want to roll down all the windows and go for a drive, it also has cold blowing R-134a air conditioning.

Under the hood is serious small block power. This is an updated 350 cubic-inch V8 that has been built with power upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers that feed the H-pipe dual exhaust. There are also good supporting components, like an electric fan and a Mallory distributor. It makes for a strong powerhouse that's nice for driving. It's built for all-around solid driving with a three-speed automatic transmission, subframe connectors, power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and wide BF Goodrich T/As.

Complete with owner's manual, this is the classic Camaro that delivers long-term care and the best features. So if you love a well-respected driver's classic, this is the one you need. Call today!!!
