With its fully built motor, five-speed, four-wheel disc brakes, and plenty of suspension upgrades, this 1993 Ford Mustang is a big upgrade over stock. But it's no wolf in sheep's clothing. The dark metallic paint, polished wheels, cowl hood, and mean stance makes this one a bold wolf that can lead the pack.

The factory-correct Royal Blue has a great attitude that gives this performance pony a dark and intimidating style. But this has also been resprayed with a nice hint of metallic that radiates in the sunlight to tell everyone it's something extra special. Of course, if it's polish that you really want, the classic five-spoke wheels have now been upgraded for a mirror-like shine. 1993 was the final year for the third generation cars, and so we love seeing these modern classics come into their own, especially with all the right modifications. This coupe has true distinction with a power dome cowl hood, smoked headlights, bright dual exhaust tips, and an intimidating stance.

The silver/gray interior looks great against the dark blue exterior. It's a well-respected package with all the essentials retaining their clean/stock appearance. This includes the power windows, power locks, dome light, factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, airbag steering wheel w/cruise control, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need serving to blow cold again.) But as clean and classic as this is, you also know this is a true driver's coupe. The front bucket seats have terrific bolstering, and the center console has an upgraded shifter. And the gauges are now a full white-faced set up with a large Ford Racing tach added to the side.

Ford's 5.0-liter motor is one of the best powerhouses around to use as a stout base for a performance build. This V8 is said to be from a low-mileage motor and the top end was rebuilt only about 13k miles ago. It has been enhanced and fortified with ported iron heads, Manley 1.94/1.60 stainless valves, K-Motion springs, titanium retainers, hardened pushrods, Scorpion 1.73 rockers, Comp lifters, Comp cam, a BBK cold air intake, 75mm throttle body, and FRFF 30lbs injectors. And long tube headers add power while feeding the X-pipe dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. We're told this full package produces about a healthy 330 horsepower. It has good supporting components, like an aluminum radiator with electric fan and the battery moved to the rear for better weight distribution. As you look underneath, you can spot a full suspension upgrade that includes Eibach Sportline springs, Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates, Delrin control arm bushings, Koni yellow adjustable shocks, upgraded rear sway bar, and subframe connectors. The five-speed is a Tremec 3550 upgrade said to be installed at the same time as the motor encashments, and it's upgraded with a Spec stage 2 clutch, alum flywheel, and Steeda clutch cable and adjuster. This connects with an aluminum driveshaft on its way to the updated SN95 Mustang limited-slip rear end. And since control is at the heart of this build, you also have four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and the grip of Firestone Firehawk Indy tires.
