SUPER SLICK BODY & PAINT, LT1 MOTOR, O/D TRANS, 4-WHEEL DISC BRAKES, HARDTOP!

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod is a comprehensive frame-off build that took four years to complete. It means they really sweated the details. So look over the fuel-injected V8 power, overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, carefully crafted custom A/C interior, and super-slick paint. It all proves that this icon is the one you'll want to both show and drive.

So the color on this is called Boyd Red... as in Boyd Coddington. He got his own shade of DuPont premium ChromaPremier paint. So how cool is it to have your custom '57 with paint blessed by the custom car king? It sets the tone for a car you want to drive and show. After all, it's a stunner on the streets, and then you get to tell the unique story about the finish every place you arrive. It's part of the extra thoughtfulness that went into the full build. That's what happens when you take four years (2010-2014) to fully restore a car. And with only about 6,700 miles on the full build, it remains looking award-worthy. There are well-placed details like clear headlights, tinted windows, and Fuel Injection badges. Plus, those polished 17-inch Foose wheels really let the world know that this one is a speedier machine ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Plus, those polished 17-inch Foose wheels really let the world know that this one is a speedier machine than stock. But even with these upgrades, the hardtop doesn't lose what makes it a legend. There was much invested in the brightwork to make it look amazing from the gold anodized pieces to the beautiful bumpers (and don't forget to note the smooth single-piece front one.) The full-length trim with the bright fan-style rear is a true icon all on its own, and so on an example like this, it's looking like an unbroken line of pure shine.

The same detailed custom quality continues inside. It's impressive how they matched the dash with the exterior custom red, but the real heart of this is the tan and brown that adds an extra dimension of premium inside. As a true restomod, they made sure to upgrade you with the best features. It includes upgraded insulation, cold blowing air conditioning, power windows, cup holders, an armrest center console, cruise control, and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. And the coco floor mats are a great touch for timeless elegance in a driver's car. Those front bucket seats come with the kind of body-hugging bolstering you could never get in the '50s, and they both power adjust to the ideal position. The chrome steering wheel has a nice grip, and it's mounted on a tilt column to give you a clear view of the full Dakota Digital VHX gauges. And the way the full panel glows red is just another touch of thoughtful coordination that lets you know their goal was to think of everything.

With a build so awesome thus far, you know they made sure the engine bay would attract a crowd, too. The color-matched ultra-smooth custom inner walls really funnel all your attention to the V8 power within. This is a polished and tidy motor that also has the unmistakable look of modern power. It's Chevy's LT1 350 cubic-inch V8 - that means the fuel injection callouts on the fender were not lying! And this motor was fully rebuilt during the restoration, and it now includes upgrades like a 58mm throttle body, a mild cam, headers feeding the X-pipe dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers. It's mated to a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission that's great for performance kick-downs or all-day overdrive highway cruising. As you look underneath, you'll see a terrific presentation with powder-coated and painted components, as well as suspension upgrades, like the tubular front control arms, rack & pinion power steering, and Positraction rear end. Add in Hydroboost four-wheel power disc brakes and modern sports tires, and this Tri-five Chevy is truly a confident classic.

There's said to be more than $120k spent during this multi-year restoration. And the proof of the top-quality is in the awards won, including best in class, best paint, best interior, and best restomod. So if you demand the best, you know this one deserves to be in your garage. Call today!!!
