This 1969 Pontiac Firebird is how to stick out in the performance muscle car crowd without giving up the great vintage appearance. Park it next to any other '69 and people gravitate to its very nicely done, subtle updates, that only heighten the essence that has made this Pontiac a legend.
This Firebird started out life as a much more mild-mannered pony car, but that was not its destiny. Just take a look at the included restoration book and pour through the included receipts. You'll see a coupe that was correctly stripped to the bone and rebuilt with a truly predatory look. That's Power Red, the kind of paint that goes straight for the jugular with the in-your-face brightness. A new dual-cowl hood was added, and of course, it wouldn't be a cool Firebird without the famous and functional hood mounted tachometer. The traditionally chrome front grille bumper was painted to match the body as part of the new aggressive style, but that doesn't mean this coupe misses out on brightwork. Beyond the rear bumper, door mirrors, and trim, this one has the unmistakable shine of custom Foose five-spoke wheels.

Description
You paid a little bit more for a Pontiac back in the day, and the difference can be seen inside where there's a delightfully upscale bucket seat interior. This is another place where the restoration is absolutely evident. The black vinyl on the seats, door panels and headliner feel like today is 1969. Black might attract heat, but that's not your concern because this is a cold blowing air conditioned car. This Firebird has also been updated with a new AM/FM/CD radio that's Bluetooth compatible. This is connected to a modern stereo system, but the installation has been tastefully subtle so it's hard to see the interior speakers or the amplifiers mounted in the trunk. The final step was adding Dynamat superior sound deadening material throughout the interior. The result is a classic Firebird that is as dampered as a brand new coupe. There is only one problem with work like this, which is now you have to roll down the window to really experience the roar from the exhaust.
When you pop the hood, try to look beyond the impressive chrome. Below the surface you'll see a fresh 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 from BluePrint Engines. It makes a special kind of powerful noise that tells everyone this muscle car is a bit more modern. Of course, it doesn't hurt that this Firebird also has a new performance dual exhaust system. This beast of an engine is connected to an automatic overdrive transmission with a B&M. The power is then sent to a stout freshly rebuilt posi-trac 10-bolt rear end before it hits the road via Nitto Extreme Performance modern rubber. The addition of power steering and front disc brakes makes this the perfect cruiser. This coupe has been under the care of one family all its life, the odometer might read 64,000 miles, however the complete 3-year restoration was finished less than 7,000 miles ago including the fresh engine. So, this was not the kind of car that was restored for profit, but instead the work was fueled by a passion for a great Firebird.
Outrageous to look at, and a blast to drive, this well-loved and well-sorted Firebird becomes the life of the party everywhere it goes. No expense was spared, and quality is very evident. Call now!!
