Longtime Corvette plant manager Wil Cooksey was known for his passion for the storied vehicle. A member of the Corvette Hall of Fame and as enthusiastic a brand ambassador as there ever was, he was thoroughly liked by his workers during his tenure, while also known to conduct on-the-spot evaluations of his plant's output that would, at times, result in a given part getting tossed when Wil saw something that just didn't pass muster. To commemorate his retirement, his crew got together to create a special edition Corvette model bearing a one-of-a-kind color combination, unique wheels and special interior appointments.
