There's no mistaking the look of gasser for anything else. They have a particular stance that tells you it was built for quarter-mile fun, and so a car like this 1961 Ford Falcon Gasser celebrates that feeling correctly.
The early Falcons were humble machines, and so they just seem like the right lightweight vehicle for a V8 upgrade. The front fuel tank is a must-have, and the stance is right with the tall front end. Plus, the wheels/tires staggered to have skinny ones up front and wider slotted mags with vintage dragster tires. And there's even more classic style with the aged red oxide primer body paint, blue tinted windows, and all those component stickers in the window. So it gives off a barn find gasser vibe that's quite cool. But this one is also secretly rewarding. The race sponsor decals have the clean look of newer, the chrome front bumper is in place to put a shining face forward, and the roof is done in an attractive and glossy white.
The interior has the right touch of old-school with white tuck and roll inserts in the door panels and rear parcel shelf. There's even a white sports steering wheel to match. This is joined by the mismatched bench seats, radio delete, ... Please ask for the full description.

There's no mistaking the look of gasser for anything else. They have a particular stance that tells you it was built for quarter-mile fun, and so a car like this 1961 Ford Falcon Gasser celebrates that feeling correctly.

This is joined by the mismatched bench seats, radio delete, upgraded gauges, and a stock T-handle shifter for the three-speed automatic transmission. So you can use the value price to invest in a full boulevard cruiser style, but really, this one already has the right look. After all, a touch of custom style within a purpose-built interior really upholds the classic gasser feeling.
The 289 cubic-inch V8 with Holley four-barrel carburetor on top is a big upgrade from the inline-six that this Falcon was born with. It's supported by the right pieces, like an aluminum radiator, a Mallory distributor, electronic ignition, and an upgraded coil. Plus, headers are a must with a gasser, and so those long pipes feed into a glasspack style dual exhaust for a nice tune. And as you look underneath, everything from the solid axle front end to the traction bars on the rear show a proper gasser setup.
A true classic style gasser like this can have a lot of fun both on and off of the dragstrip. So if you're looking for a unique and powerful classic, call today!
