REAL DEAL 242 GTO, SLICK RED PAINT, 400CI MOTOR, HIS/HERS SHIFTER, TH400 TRANS

Slick paint, 400 V8 power, and an overall awesomely crisp presentation make this real-deal 1967 Pontiac GTO a very cool cruiser. And you'll really love all the right details - from the show-ready engine presentation to the extra grrrrrrowl on demand.

The red paint is an upgrade with a modern clearcoat luster. It makes this radiate brighter than even your nostalgia, and so it shows off the good body lines. The '67 coupe was the right mix of pretty and performance. It has upper-classic pieces, like the flying buttress rear, and there's no better way of showing it off than with a taut-fitting black vinyl roof. And we're glad to see such a solid investment in the brightwork because the way those form-hugging bumpers are united by the full-length rocker trim, it really makes this coupe look like it's encircled by chrome. Stacked headlights, a mesh grille, wide fog lights, Rally II wheels, and a hood scoop make sure everyone knows a muscle machine has arrived.

The black vinyl top of the exterior gets you ready for the full black interior. You can instantly tell they made all the right investments here. It's in the quality of the carpeting, door panels, smooth dash, and clean upholstery. The ... Please ask for the full description.

The GTO is a true driver's car, and this know-how to really show it off. The bright machine-turned dash panel and matching center console are absolutely sporty. When you slip behind the wood-rimmed steering wheel, it's easy to spot the clear factory gauges with tach and that added auxiliary gauge trio under the dash. Plus, the Hurst dual gate shifter is a true icon of power. So while there is an upgraded retro-style stereo, we bet your favorite soundtrack begins under the hood.

The engine bay looks show-ready with an ultra-tidy setup. This includes the smooth inner walls, tidy wires/hoses, correct decals, and plenty of polished components. And the Pontic turquoise block radiates almost as brightly as the chromed pieces! But as good as this looks, a motor like this was all about the power to claim the true granddaddy of the muscle car. So you're upgraded with a Summit double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, HEI ignition, and an aluminum radiator. The headers feed into a sweet-sounding dual exhaust, and there are even electric cutouts if you want to really bring the thunder. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is the ideal balance of stout and smooth, and this feeds the 12-bolt rear end.

This is the true GTO that has been restored for added power and poise. It's time to drive a legend, call today!
