5.7 LITER HEMI V8, AUTO TRANS, PWR STEER/4-WHEEL DISC, CUSTOM TOUCHES VERY COOL!

When the Magnums took the wagon-world by storm in the early 2000s, lots of people paid attention, but if they all looked as slick as this 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T, Mopar would've sold out in a day. Featuring a recent Magnesium Pearl pant job punched up with Rumble Bee vinyl decals, a newer 5.7L HEMI V8, a lowered stance, and an uber-comfortable and loaded leather interior, this modern wagon has a killer custom look that stands out from the crowds. And at this price, it might just be the best bang-for-your-buck in our inventory.

The Dodge Magnum created a whole new niche of full-sized, wagon muscle, and fans have been customizing them ever since they first debuted. Based on the rear-wheel drive Chrysler LX platform, the Magnums actually shared many elements and components with Mercedes-Benz. That meant these were top-quality cruisers built the right way, and with forward thinking styling unlike anything that came before it, the low-slung design still looks very modern today. The Magnesium Pearl paint was resprayed in 2019, and by the looks of things this rig didn't require much bodywork at all, evidence of a life lived fairly easy despite the relatively high mileage. Not only does the ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Not only does the driver-quality finish look awesome in person, but it fits the big car's curves in such a way as to mask its size and give it a nimble, high- performance look, or at least something that looks less suburban. It's a driver for sure, which is what any Dodge built in 2005 was, but any imperfections and minor flaws are quickly forgiven by this wagon's fantastic curb appeal. The yellow Rumble Bee R/T decal package has a big hand in that, including the pinstripes that encircle the body, as the contrast between the two colors is stark and very appealing. And with the addition of aftermarket projector Halo headlights, a cowl hood, LED taillights, and those blacked-out SRT-style wheels shod with yellow letter Hankook tires, this wagon really garners lots of attention.

Inside, full-sized comfort meets performance car function, with leather bucket seats split by a factory console, a matching rear bench seat, and loads of storage room out back. You'll see no troubling issues as you glance around the cabin - the door panels and center console still appear fresh, as does the carpet below, and the assortment of factory gauges have been punctuated with yellow-faced R/T inlays that match the exterior theme. Debuting as it did after the millennium - a point where comfort and convenience amenities seemed to become more plentiful - this Dodge is well equipped with factory options and a couple choice aftermarket add-ons. The latter include a Pioneer multi-media head-unit set inside a carbon-fiber trimmed center stack, color-keyed floormats, and a custom shifter sit inside a bright yellow bezel that all spice things up a bit inside. The air conditioning blows strong and cold, and with power heated front buckets, remote door openers, cruise control, a tilting column, and power windows and door locks, the cabin is extremely comfortable. Airbags on both sides also add an enhanced level of safety, and a back-up camera was added for convenience. Lift the rear hatch and you'll get a better idea of just how functional the Magnum is - there's quite a bit of storage room standing by behind the back row of seating and that row folds down to literally double the cargo area.

Plenty of eager power comes from the fuel-injected 5.7 liter HEMI V8 beneath the hood, a replacement block replaced at 166K miles according to the receipts. A direct descendant of the storied Mopar engines of the muscle car era, it offers a commanding presence inside the engine bay and has been outfitted with a K& N air intake system to further enhance its already considerable abilities. The engine bay was detailed to show off more of that killer Rumble Bee theme, with bright yellow and black paint on the engine cover, shock tower covers, and cold-air intake tube. Just like the rest of the car, the powerplant has received proper attention to keep it running strong and smooth, so it produces a nice, rich note out of the added Flowmaster exhaust as it teams with a 5-speed automatic transmission geared to optimize its output. Eibach 1-inch lowering springs and Eibach front/rear swaybars help set the stance and keep the big body agile in the corners, while power steering and power front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and yellow calipers make it a blast to drive. Blacked-out 20-inch SRT wheels finish off the killer look, wrapped in sticky 255/45/20 Hankook radials with yellow lettering that really pops.

Nicely maintained, partially restored, and light customized, this Magnum R/T has a whole lot going for it. And at this price, we don't expect to grow too attached to it. Call today!
