383 CRATE MOTOR, 5 SPD TRANS, POWER STEER/BRAKES, FOOSE WHEELS, GREAT CRUISER!

Flash AND substance... that's what you look for when buying a well-done restomod, and this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu truly delivers. With a great shade of maroon, an upgraded A/C interior, a five-speed, four-wheel disc brakes, a fuel-injected stroker motor, and serious money invested $$$$ in the suspension, you're looking at everything you've wanted in a powerful classic... and it's ready to run right now.

This was born a Tropical Turquoise, and that looked good on a premium Malibu hardtop when new. But when it came time to upgrade this to a meaner and sleeker restomod, they chose a more fitting 1966 color: Madeira Maroon. It has the boldness of red with deeper tones, and so it sets the mood right for a car that has been upgraded to be both more aggressive and more comfortable. The high-gloss finish really radiates modern shine that will love to show off the flying buttress design of this pillarless hardtop Chevelle body. And speaking of the body, they paid attention to an excellent panel fit and crisp lines to make this car look its best. The brightwork in places like the chrome bumpers, grille, full trim, and ribbed rocker panels all have a notable shine, too. And those Foose ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

383 CRATE MOTOR, 5 SPD TRANS, POWER STEER/BRAKES, FOOSE WHEELS, GREAT CRUISER!

Flash AND substance... that's what you look for when buying a well-done restomod, and this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu truly delivers. With a great shade of maroon, an upgraded A/C interior, a five-speed, four-wheel disc brakes, a fuel-injected stroker motor, and serious money invested in the suspension, you're looking at everything you've wanted in a powerful classic... and it's ready to run right now.

And those Foose wheels with 18/20 inch front/rear stagger go with the overall shining theme of the car while also giving it an intimidating attitude.

The black interior looks great against the maroon exterior. The full restoration gave this a fresh look for all the fundamentals, including the upholstery, headliner, carpeting, and dash pad. And you'll find thoughtful details everywhere from the working dome light to how the center console was painted the exterior's maroon to go with the door tops and lower dash. A restomod also means the right modern upgrades. It includes JL Audio Mediamaster 50 AM/FM audio system aux input, upgraded speakers, and Bluetooth (a $3k investment alone,) and the classic vent sliders now connect to cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. And of course, this is also built to be a better driver. The grippy wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column. It gives you a clear view to the upgraded Thunder road gauges, and that large tach goes well with the floor shifter.

The engine bay continues this coupe's strength and style packaging. You have a tidy look with a smooth maroon painted firewall and inner fenders, and lots of polished components. But what you'll really love is the substance beyond the style. This is a BluePrint 383 stroker V8 that was installed less than 1,700 miles ago (the odometer represents the motor's mileage.) It was built with the right pieces like BluePrint aluminum heads and long tube headers. And it's topped off with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and consistency. It's a terrific powerhouse that makes a sweet rumble out of the dual exhaust. But any time you really want to bring the thunder, there's a switch on the dash to engage the electronic cut-outs and bypass the mufflers. You have full control over the strong motor and its high-octane soundtrack thanks to the upgraded TKO600 five-speed manual transmission (it was installed at the same time as the motor.) The clean photos of the undercarriage show a big investment in a sports suspension. You can spot the BMR tubular A-arm front suspension, UMI four-link rear, adjustable coilovers all around, rack & pinion power steering, and Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel discs brakes. It proves this is a true restomod that truly provides an upgraded all-around driving experience.

We have build receipts documenting about $18k invested just in the last few years, and you even have a restoration photo book to show the full project it takes to create a custom of this caliber. This is a restomod that has speed, style, and comfort in one custom package. So if you like the best of everything, don't miss this hardtop. Call today!!!
