So now you have a NASCAR-style setup with a solid added hit of top-end power. The numbers-matching three-speed automatic transmission feeds a 12-bolt rear end. And the rear suspension is now reinforced and has a sway bar. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs, and you have a powerful coupe that also lives up to the Monte Carlo's full cruising nature.
