68K ORIG MI, #'S MATCH 327, 4 SPEED, FRAME OFF, PWR FRNT DISCS, POSI, GREAT CAR!
There are certain vehicles that we know won't last long under our showroom lights. Take for example, this '68 Chevrolet Camaro RS with 68k actual miles, a numbers matching V8 under the hood, and a recent restoration. A quality Camaro in a classic black and red color combination, along with a rag top, and a freshly built small block four speed, never last long on our floor. Especially one done as nicely as this. This is one Camaro that has some serious substance to it.
One can't help but to step back and admire the beauty of this great looking Camaro. Covered in slick black paint with some metal-flake, and red stripes running from the nose to the tail, this car sizzles. Seeing as how this is a fully restored Camaro with just about new everything, right down to the RS grill and headlight assemblies, you'll find the sheetmetal is amazingly straight and the gaps are near perfect. The new upgraded electric RS grille hides the headlamps and sits above a nice chrome bumper. Making sure everyone knows exactly what this car is all about are the correct '327' and 'Rally Sport' badges, and just in case someone still didn't get the message, the cowl-induction hood will be sure to get the point across. Enjoy this beauty with the convertible top up or down. Underneath is painted gloss black as well, and the underside is almost as nice as up top. This is one muscle car that rain or shine, is bound to turn some heads!
Slide inside and prepare to be impressed. The fresh new seat covers are a rich, correct red vinyl covering the low back bucket seats. The new door panels, new plush carpet, and new dash pad appear just the way it would when it rolled off the showroom floor in '68. The beautiful red dash houses your basic gauges, while the center panel has the AM/FM/Cassette player along with the switches for the heat and defrost, and in the floor straight out from the center hump is the floor shifter. The trunk (about the only metal not replaced) appears very solid, and with new weather stripping throughout, the ride inside is a comfortable one. Sporting all the new pieces in the interior, this car is clean and ready to be proudly displayed at your local car show.
There's no denying what is under the hood of this beautiful Camaro. As the badges on the front fender state, the original 327 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 is nestled right at home where it left the factory. This freshly built motor is numbers matching, and has a .030 bore, and new Edelbrock intake and carburetor to increase performance and reliability. With a new alternator, new starter, new water pump, and new fuel pump, you can be confident that this engine will get you where you need to go. Power flows to a Saginaw 4-speed manual transmission that very well also could be the factory transmission. From there, power flows to a 10-bolt 3.36 Posi rear with J-Bolt traction bars and new leaf springs. Giving you exceptional stopping power are power front disc brakes and drum rears, all of which have new brake lines. The dual Summit Racing Exhaust gives this car a nice deep rumble, and the staggered 17" and 18" Riddler Wheels give this car the amazing stance. This thing steers and drives tight!
This is the ultimate F-body, and will be one that will be hard to resist. From the drop top, to the fresh engine, fresh interior, fresh paint, this Rally Sport Camaro won't last long so call today!
