HARDTOP SS SUPER SPORT CHEVELLE, CORRECT 283 MOTOR, 4-SPEED MANUAL, GREAT COLORS

Here is your dream car. Not only is this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu a real-deal Super Sport, but it also likely has its original V8 under the hood. In fact, as you look at the total package, you'll see that his hardtop was given the right investment to keep it looking vintage, and only the right subtle upgrades to make it an even better cruiser.

Chevelles hit the scene in a big way for the first time in 1964, and a genuine Super Sport coupe like this one was a key reason for the success. The design represents the new edge style of the 1960s, especially the flared rear quarter panels that are the car's defining feature, as well as the crisply contoured hood that bears a familial resemblance to its big brother, the Impala. As you look over this coupe, you can see a proper investment to uphold these defining features.
It's in the brightness of the full-length trim, the fit of the doors, and the quality of everything from the body panels to the defining Malibu SS badging. And as a true Super Sport, it just looks better in red. This was an upgrade later in life, and today it strikes the right balance of a good gloss, vibrant style, and a driver-ready attitude. After all, this is the ... Please ask for the full description.

And as a true Super Sport, it just looks better in red. This was an upgrade later in life, and today it strikes the right balance of a good gloss, vibrant style, and a driver-ready attitude. After all, this is the kind of car that was made for cruising.

Open the door, and this time capsule approach continues to deliver the goods. It has period-correct desirable features like the black vinyl bucket seats, center console, and even the working dome light. And there's a quality in the fundamentals like the upholstery, carpeting, door panels, and headliner that make this quite inviting. They even added provisions for R134a air conditioning in a classic under dash unit (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) The thin classic steering wheel, full round gauge package, and floor shifter are all there to give you the right vintage driver feeling.

The 283 cubic-inch V8 is one of those great powerplants that help us celebrate the dawn of the small block era. Having the correct JH suffix code could mean this is the original motor that came in the car. This one looks particularly nice with the bright Chevy Orange block and the finned valve covers. Plus, all HEI ignition and aluminum radiator contribute to both the tidy appearance and better driving nature. The correct-style Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor lets this V8 inhale deeply, and the dual exhaust has that nice hint of rumble that tells you there's plenty of power in this Malibu. The four-speed manual transmission gives you full control for some true Super Sport fun. And wide BF Goodrich T/As and a quality ride make for a fine cruising package.

There is an impressive presentation on this hardtop that tells you it has been properly respected. We are even told (but unverified) that this is a two-owner car. This is the opportunity to own the first chapter of a classic car legend. Call today!!!
