You love it when someone invests the right money to build a muscle car just like you would, and this 1965 Chevy II Nova SS is a prime example. It's a real-deal Super Sport with a slick red outside and a clean/classic interior. And while it has the appearance of a classic machine, the stealthily upgraded small block proves even greater power.
This hardtop classic makes the right first impression. The trim tag tells us this was born a Regal Red coupe, but the shine today tells you there was an investment in a more modern professional paint application. It really helps to highlight the crisp sheet metal lines that gave these an upscale look and made these compact/lightweight Novas able to stand next to the big boys. But this is a real-deal Super Sport, and so you'll also appreciate the complete and original quality of the brightwork and trim. Plus, those 15-inch Rally wheels are the exact right addition. It has a larger rear set and it's part of a forward-leaning stance to show some extra flair and signal that there's something special under the hood (more on that in a moment.)

The trim tag tells us this was born a Regal Red coupe, but the shine today tells you there was an investment in a more modern professional paint application. It really helps to highlight the crisp sheet metal lines that gave these an upscale look and made these compact/lightweight Novas able to stand next to the big boys. Step inside for a great vintage muscle car world of black and chrome. There was a solid investment here in getting the correct pieces to look good. The result is the pattern on the bucket seats are crisp, the door panels are textured, the headliner is taut, the dash pad is smooth, and the carpeting feels fresh. It's such a classic cruiser setup that you have the factory AM radio with an added FM tuner underneath (they're currently just a fun vintage display.) You'll love original pieces like the steering wheel and Super Sport specific center console, but the SunPro tach and temp gauge are handy additions that are right for real driver's classics.
1965 was a pivotal year for Nova fans. The best ones could now be upgraded to the 327 cubic-inch V8. Since the VIN tells us this was born a V8 Nova SS we're glad to see they installed a classic 327ci motor with the bold Chevy orange and vintage callouts. But dig a little deeper. You'll see this small block inhales deeply with a Holley 800 CFM four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power and authority as long tube headers feed the Flowmaster dual exhaust. It's a strong powerhouse that also has plenty of fresher components, including an aluminum radiator. The Powerglide transmission is good for both easy automatic shifting and a little blacktop fun whenever you like.
This is a real-deal Super Sport Nova that respects its history while also providing more fun. So don't miss out on this total package. Call today!!!
