502 V8 CRATE, 5 SPEED TREMEC, P/S, P/B, 4 WHEEL DISC, COLD A/C, HOTCHKIS, LOADED

When you're going to take the ultimate muscle car drop-top and turn it into the ultimate restomod, you really should make sure that it fulfills the entire wish list. That's why this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible is a fresh build that has a fuel-injected 502 crate big block, five-speed stick, upgraded suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. And you get to enjoy this full package from a loaded A/C interior.

A real-deal GTO convertible is already a rare sight, but this one instantly lets you know it's something extra special. The color is similar to the Gulf Turquoise that Pontiac offered in 1967, but there's a level of luster that shines with a professional-grade quality. There's less than 1,600 miles on this car since completing its full build, and so this high-gloss finish loves to show off the curves that made the first-gen GTO such an icon. Plus, the hint of metallic sparkle is exactly what you want radiating on a sunshine friendly convertible. Competing with the paint for the shine is the mirror-like bumpers, trim, and rockers. And this has all the best GTO pieces, including the hood scoop, badging, dual exhaust, and eight taillight rear panel that was exclusive to 1967. This ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

This is an upgraded restomod, but the exterior goes to great lengths to remain vintage. So while the tires are upgraded to modern/grippy 17-inch units, it's hard to recognize, because they used classic Cragar SS wheels.

If you like the look of the crisp white roof against the blue exterior, then you'll love the style of the creamy white upholstery inside. The whole interior is both fresh and thoughtfully assembled. For example, power windows and a power convertible top mean you never have to leave the driver's seat to go from enclosed comfort to a wind-in-your-hair experience. And cold-blowing R134a air conditioning lets you enjoy this feeling even in the summertime. While there will be plenty of people wanting to go for a ride, a muscle car restomod like this makes sure the driver is always the priority. The custom center console gives you extras like a nice armrest and a well-integrated AM/FM/CD/DVD touchscreen stereo interface. You have the comfort of bucket seats, a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, and a tilt column. The custom dash is now filled with AutoMeter Cobalt gauges - including a large speedo and tach. And that works in harmony with the Hurst shifter to get your enthusiast blood pumping.

The engine bay continues the clean and fresh look seen throughout this build. But what's really going to attract you is the substance within the style. It was pretty sweet when Pontiac increased the GTO's displacement to 400ci in 1967, and so this one take that spirit and turns it way up. That's because you're looking at a 502 cubic-inch crate V8. More than just a monster displacement, this was built with the right go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake and Hooker long tube headers feeding an X-pipe dual exhaust. And it's topped with a Holley electronic fuel injection system for added power and consistency. Keen eyes will also spot thoughtful supporting components, like upgraded brackets, upgraded pulleys, a serpentine belt system, an aluminum radiator, electric fans, and the battery moved to the trunk for better weight distribution. The V8 loves to growl to life with power, and you're in complete control of it all with the upgrade to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. As you look underneath, there are more great upgrades, including Bilstein shocks and a full Hotchkis suspension package with tubular front arms, boxed rear arms, and thick sway bars front & rear. There's also power steering, modern ZR-rated tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors.

Complete with build receipts, it's now clear how this fresh build is an all-around awesome restomod. So if you want a car that's terrific to drive and ready to bring home awards, this GTO is ready right now. All you have to do is call today!
