DIALED-IN LIFTED 4X4, STRONG 350 V8, 700R4, DUALS, MICKEYS, PS, PB, READY TO GO!

Who didn't want one of these trucks, lifted and sitting tall, back when they were new? Well, it's time to relive the past with this 1984 Chevy K10 pickup, which has obviously enjoyed a rather significant makeover. With in-your-face looks and go-anywhere capabilities, it's big black fun on or off the pavement.

Black is the quintessential tough truck color, regardless of age, and this awesome Chevy wears it proudly. It was repainted a few years ago, but judging from the details and the hard-to-reach areas of the body, basic black was probably this truck's original color. You can't argue with how good it looks on the clean, chiseled lines of the K10 and the finish quality is on-par with the build quality of the rest of the truck. It's shiny, well-applied, and covering some straight sheetmetal, but at the same time, it's not so flawless that you're afraid to use this truck to its full potential. There's lots of shiny trim to accentuate that glossy black finish, including the factory stainless moldings on the sides of the body and chrome bed rails that are probably a good idea on a truck this tall. And speaking of the bed, it's been fortified with a spray-in bedliner, just in case you're ... Please ask for the full description.

And speaking of the bed, it's been fortified with a spray-in bedliner, just in case you're hauling, say, your collection of bowling balls or a grizzly bear. A black diamond plate tool box up front adds LED work lights and weather-proof storage, making this a truck that's not afraid to put in a hard day's work.

The black and gray interior is largely stock and for 1984, you'll be impressed by the luxury accommodations. The wide bench seat wears a more recent cover that's in decent shape save for a scuff on the driver's side, but it's possible that things like the door panels and dash pad are original, maybe even the carpets, too. This truck offers a lot of power accessories, including power windows and locks and a tilt steering column, so it's hardly vintage-feeling from behind the wheel. A newer AM/FM/CD stereo lives in the dash, but that and the aftermarket center console are the only notable modifications to the interior. A sliding rear window works in concert with the vent windows to make the interior pleasant on warmer days and after you've used it, you'll probably wonder how you got by without it.

The condition of the sparkling engine bay suggests that while this truck looks off-road ready, it hasn't spent much time there. The 350 cubic inch V8 sports a bunch of chrome, as well as improvements like an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and matching intake manifold, a serpentine belt drive system for the accessories, and a growling dual exhaust system with long-tube headers. It was all painted Chevy Orange to give it an OEM look, although by 1984, blocks were plain old black. Anchored by a sturdy 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and 2-speed transfer case, the driveline is tough enough to handle just about anything. While you're under there, check out the modest lift kit with new shocks at each corner, an upgraded steering stabilizer, and heavy-duty axles that show signs of recent work. Of course, a truck like this wouldn't be possible without power steering and brakes, so despite its size it's relatively easy to maneuver in traffic. Great-looking polished aluminum wheels suite the truck's personality and carry mammoth 35x12.50-15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires that look like they'll climb a wall.

A very cool truck with big modifications and a classic look. With over $10,000 in recent service work, it's totally sorted and ready to enjoy. Call today!
