Have you ever wanted to own something that looks like it runs on whisky and tattoo ink? Well here's your chance. This one of a kind custom 1932 Hi-Boy Roadster is the real deal and packs some very unique characteristics inside, outside, and under the hood!
When looking at these historic roadsters, simplicity seems to jump out right away, but with a closer look you can see all the details that make these cars one of a kind. If you couldn't tell by the insignia on the grille, this is in fact a Hotrod. You see that starting with the custom black matte paint that really helps all the red pinstriping stand out as well as the frame that has been painted a glossy red. Adding in some much needed detail is the custom pinstriping artwork featured on the trunk. It's got that awesome minimalist look that strips the '32 down to the barest of minimums, with a pair of headlights perched on the frame, but precious little else to slow it down. Even the door handles were shaved to create a smooth simple body. A stainless grille insert and chrome spreader bar up front give some contrast, while out back there is a color-matched gas tank to make it look authentic.

To match the painted frame, a red custom interior was installed. Pleated vinyl seats, matching door panels, and a cool colored dash all give it a polished look that's as sophisticated as the exterior. This roadster even has seat-belts. The custom painted dash houses Dolphin gauges and little else as a simplistic approach was the best. The three spoke red steering wheel keeps with the simple theme and feels right at home. It's fully carpeted, something that few roadsters enjoyed back in the day, with plush black carpet and the custom high rise shifter comes through the floor ready for the driver to take this car for a spin. And with this roadster, you also get a nicely finished trunk with a trick battery box and plenty of room for gear.
A roadster wouldn't be complete without a V8 engine. This little beauty has a 305 V8 nestled in the engine compartment. The engine has been painted red to match the rest of the car and has been dressed up with a chrome alternator and polished valve covers. Bolted to the small block is a TH350 automatic transmission. The front and rear suspensions are the traditional dropped axle on a transverse leaf spring. Power steering has been added for convenience, and it does have power front disc brakes for impressive stopping power. Red wheels, on which the hub-caps are indeed skulls, carry 195/75/14 front and 235/75/15 rear wide whitewall Coker radials for an old-school look with modern tire technology .
A neat little roadster that will definitely stand out at shows simply because it dares to be just a little different. With all the custom details, this one is sure to be a conversation starter. Call today!
