239 FLATHEAD V8, 3 SPEED ON THE FLOOR, GREAT COLORS, MATCHING COCA COLA TRAILER!

World War II was barely a memory when this 1946 Ford pickup came off the line. In fact, it represents the first full model year for civilian production. And not only was this truck restored to look quite nice, there also was a full Coca-Cola theme added to really tap into an all-American kind of optimism that this pickup represents.

Red with white accents is an absolutely ideal color combo. At the heart of this appeal is that this truck was carefully restored to look both sharp and period-correct. It was a three-year labor of love that was completed recently. So the Vermillion Red paint has a good gloss that loves to show off the classic Ford curves. There are terrific details, like the two-piece wheel trim, step plates, and new window glass. And the rear fenders are now fiberglass to really get the swoopy look right and also fit the side-mounted spare with Coca-Cola cover. A classic like this is known for its real wood in the bed, and so you not only have awesome-looking oak on the floor, but also marching side rails. And the diamond plate tool box that's color-matched to the black bed sides means you can carry things in this pickup without ever setting them down on the glossy ...

And the diamond plate tool box that's color-matched to the black bed sides means you can carry things in this pickup without ever setting them down on the glossy lumber. The other reason the truck's red and white color combo looks so good is because it goes with the full custom trailer. An antique Coca-Cola cooler, two soda fountain stools, and an umbrella mount w/mini table means this one knows exactly how to spend all day at the car show in comfort and style.

A vintage truck like this was built to be simple and rugged inside. And this one carries that attitude right with the clean dash, basic door panels, and thin dual-spoke steering wheel. But this one likes to integrate the right comforts, too. For example, you still have the classic bench seat, but now it has far more cushioning and comfy cloth inserts for where you sit. And below the dash you have the right auxiliary readouts and even a USB charger so that you can drive this classic in today's world.

When you have a Ford that's part of rolling history it's great to have an icon under the hood like this 239 cubic-inch Flathead V8 to help tell the story. And because this wants to be a useful pickup, there have been the right upgrades, like a 12-volt electrical system, an alternator, a new starter, and a dual master cylinder for the brakes. There was a new clutch installed during the restoration, and so the three-speed manual transmission shifts crisply. The trailer hitch is mounted correctly, and there's even a wiring plug. So this one was thoughtfully built to be a distinct cruiser.

The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, maintenance records, and build receipts. This is true rolling history that makes for the most optimistic post WWII machine you're going to find. So it's time to grab a Coke and a smile in this well-built Ford. Call today!!! (The trailer does not come with an actual title. It will come with a bill of sale.)
