440/SIX-PACK, AUTO, MOPAR TOUGH W/ GREAT PAINT & FRESH BUILD!

For Mopar faithful, it doesn't get much better than a 440 six pack '69 Road Runner. However, today you are more likely to see the legit examples just sitting in an expensive collection rather than cruising to a local car show. However, this '69 Road Runner high quality recreation is something that can be driven and enjoyed on the streets without feeling guilty. And with a period correct 440 six pack under the hood, its a ride that you won't soon forget.

Today this beautiful 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is covered in a bold red, with black stripes that cover its aggressive lines. The bodywork remains straight and clean, with sharply rendered creases on the quarters and decent panel alignment. It has a purposeful look that is ready to rumble, and presents well running down the road. The minimal chrome and trim remain very nice, and all the proper Road Runner decals are in place. Originally leaving the factory as a satellite, this is a car that has been built well enough that just about anyone could not tell, and is ready to be unleashed on the open roads.

Inside, this Road Runner is simply spectacular. The black vinyl pairs well with the red on the outside, and even though the column shifter and bench seats don't scream performance, they still fit right at home. The carpet is in great shape being protected by roadrunner themed floor mats, and while the bench seat does not show as new, its nothing that you wouldn't expect from a car of this age. The original gauges are all in place along with some nice auxiliary gauges and a column-mounted tach. The AM radio is still living in the dash, but otherwise this Mopar is just built to be big on performance. In the trunk you'll find a fresh plaid mat and a full size spare.

As much attention as the 426 Hemi gets, its often forgot just how powerful the 440 Magnums were. Very few cars of the era could keep pace with a Plymouth packing a 440/Six-Pack under the hood. Covered in the bright Hemi Orange, the block looks absolutely ready for show. Pop the hood and you'll find all the correct decals including a Coyote Duster air filter, and an authentic light purple "Beep Beep" Road Runner horn. With a simple turn of the key this big block roars to life, and sounds great thanks to the 2-piece Hooker Headers. Bolted to the immaculate engine is an automatic transmission that is ready for cruising speeds on the highway. At the corners you'll find 15" rims that have been wrapped in Turbo Tech GT Radial rubber.

This Mopar has undergone a spectacular transformation that took it from grocery getter to serious performer. But hey, the old saying goes..."race it on Sunday, and drive it to work on Monday." The addition of a 440 six-pack V8, a new paint color, and a fresh interior have made this car a beauty that is ready to make you the envy of all your friends. For this price, you can't delay.
